When the light of dawn appears, that is the time to act. The so-called absence of beds and the like means that it is best to be without beds adorned with sandalwood and gold and silver and other precious things, and bedding such as silks. If there are any, they should be abandoned. One should rise from a comfortable bed that is in accordance with one's own yoga and recite the yidam. Among them, a comfortable bed that is in accordance with one's own yoga refers to a cushion filled with cotton and the like that is fluffy and comfortable, or a bed that belongs to that category. The so-called rising means rising from such a bed, sitting in any comfortable posture such as squatting, and reciting the sacred Dharma. It is also said in the scriptures that one should discuss the profound and vast Dharma, the profound being like the Prajnaparamita Sutra, and the vast being like the Tree Ornament Sutra. Or the Prajnaparamita Sutra, which has both meanings, and any other sutras, should be recited. The sound of "etc." also includes recitation, mantra recitation, receiving instructions, and other things. Some say that abandoning tall beds and good cushions is the doctrine of the lower vehicle. As it is also said in the fiftieth chapter: Do not sleep on a wooden bed that is one cubit high, or on a bed decorated with sandalwood, etc., and never sleep on a tall bed, etc. If it is shown here to be the same, then there is no difference between the two. Otherwise, it would contradict the statement that "there is no need for asceticism." So why is it shown this way? The answer is, that is also true. However, there are also practices that are similar due to the difference in protection. It is also said in the tantra of mantras: For beds and bedding, a wise practitioner should not lie down with an impure person, nor should he lie on his back or on his stomach. Among them, the sound of saying not to lie down with others also clearly indicates that one should not lie down oneself. Therefore, although there are those who show similar behavior, because of the difference in views, countless things are mixed, so those will not be the same as that, and it is difficult

Ub refers to the view of achieving through asceticism. The yogi is to be humble before the Buddhas. Teaching in this way, know that it will not become contradictory either. To manifest the nature of non-forgetfulness means that non-discrimination is the root of everything. By understanding one thing, the object of non-forgetfulness is the Dharmadhatu, so to increase focus on it, it should be done like this. How to practice the chosen deity well at night and during the day? That is, dividing the day into three periods to observe: Have the vows that I have taken well been broken or not? Which virtuous deeds will decrease? Which will increase? Thus, repeatedly check and remember what they have become like. And generate the determination to remove faults and not create them again. If the good aspects decrease and the vows and precepts, etc., are broken, and the non-virtuous aspects increase, then generate regret, repair and take the broken vows and precepts, etc., and first generate the thought of striving to reduce the aspects of sin and non-virtue, and then strive to practice. The method of generating effort in virtue is also as follows: Abiding in the great mandala refers to the Buddhas abiding in the great Vajradhatu mandala. The Tathagatas, etc., refer to the Bhagavan great Vajradhatu. The word "etc." includes the four directional Buddhas. The great Bodhisattvas refer to the glorious Vajrasattva or the Wisdom Sattvas, etc. In general, it is to visualize the Buddhas spoken of in the Vajradhatu mandala as abiding in the space in front for a moment, and then manifest them, prostrating with direct perception, or with the union of non-duality, or with the four ways spoken of below. Some say that in the space in front, with swift samadhi, generate it as spoken of in the Vajradhatu, and then from the moon disc in one's heart, with the continuity of the letter "ཇི་(ji)", emit the iron hook of wisdom, the Vajradhatu.
