whose faults are completely purified. For those who have minds that are manifestly tamed by such means or methods, this is taught in order to completely purify them with the ritual of completely pacifying the faults of offenses. So, why is the samaya of the vajra family taught in the form of a great wrathful one? Is it impossible to do it by other means? It is said: Yes, for some who are very much controlled by desire and so on. In order to show a different characteristic from the above, the word "also" is used. Some sentient beings are completely entangled by the three poisons of desire and so on, and their minds are excessively controlled without autonomy. They become untamed and listen to the words of others. This is for some beings who are very difficult to tame. "Oneself in all ways." This means that the Tathagata himself is free from faults in all ways and does not have anger and so on, but the nature of bodhicitta is called desire, and anger and so on that appear from one's own nature, changing names and appearances to suit different beings to be tamed, so that those who are very much controlled by desire and so on can completely abandon those faults in an appropriate and reasonable way. This summarizes these common meanings. Therefore, yogis, those who desire to attain the state of the Sugata, that is, those practitioners who desire to attain the accomplishment of Vajrasattva and so on, should also, in order to purify the faults of the three doors of limitless sentient beings and the obscurations arising from them, and the habitual entanglements, and in order to make the qualities of the wisdom heroes such as glorious Vajrasattva, for those who are not robbed by others and are firmly attached to the qualities of desire, or for those who follow and cling to the thoughts of shravakas and so on, it is taught that they should be rejected. "Should be fiercely rebuked," this is not to create fear in others with hatred, but to tolerate the faults of others with great compassion, so it is necessary to rebuke. Loving-kindness means
