It should be known. Why is that? Because the action and the actor are non-different. Wherein, the action is the nature of the action, namely the signs of the karma-mudrā, whose nature is the characteristic of the body, speech, and mind of the deities being completely pure, and because it becomes the karma-mudrā, it is said in that way because there is no difference. The so-called specific nature of the four mudrās refers to what the differences are in terms of the words and meanings of those that are taught as the four mudrās. Up to this point, the characteristics of the four types of mudrās have been explained. Now, the characteristics of summarizing the mudrās will be explained. To this, others say: Are those that are taught as the four mudrās in that way certain, or is it possible to understand them in another way? Answer: All of them are of two types, and so on. The so-called two types refers to those that are taught as the four mudrās, etc., which, in general, should be understood as two types. The so-called "nature of being regarded as a deity" refers to the deity that arises from the wisdom of omniscience, namely the wisdom bodhisattvas. The so-called "regarded by those with vows" refers to the practitioner transforming himself into the form of any deity, and then visualizing with the samādhi in which he has unwavering faith. The so-called "whatever is in accordance with the teachings of the deity, generated by those with vows" refers to being in accordance with the form that is subsequently taught in the union tantra, the vow bodhisattva destroying his own ripened aggregates, and then generating as the wisdom deity of samādhi. The so-called "whatever is the nature of the deity" refers to the complete perfection of the form. The so-called "believing in its parts without difference" refers to the parts such as the vajra and the hook that are designated as vow mudrās, knowing them without difference or distinction, which is called the deity regarded by those with vows. Wherein, the so-called "whatever has become the sign of the emanation of the deities" refers to whatever has become the sign of the emanation from the wisdom of the deities, which are the wisdom bodhisattvas. The so-called "whatever is the nature of the deity" refers to his body becoming the mahāmudrā, the body with the form completely perfected. The so-called "without difference in its parts"

To know, those vajras and iron hooks, etc., which have become the mudras of the samaya, each symbolizes the door of its own qualities. To know that there is no difference from them is to impute it as such. The so-called "nature of the deity of the mudra imputed as such" means that the person with samaya, having imputed the body as the deity, contemplates and practices the self-nature of the Mahamudra deity with mantra, then in order to accomplish whatever is needed for the four activities and the supreme, intermediate, and lower siddhis, etc., that will be obtained and gathered, and blessed. This is mostly explained in the yoga tantras. The so-called "mostly" is a synonym for "the majority of parts." Why is that? It means, for what reason is it blessed in this way? The so-called "imputed by the person with samaya" means that the person with samaya contemplates the body of the deity, and having bound the mudra with samaya, then the Tathagatas will also accomplish the needs of whatever beings desire, so in the past, when practicing the bodhisattva conduct, they made a samaya, remembering that samaya, the wisdom deities will also bless him. Regarding that, it is said in the tantra: "Merely by binding, the assembly of Vajrasattva, etc., fearing the loss of samaya, will surely give blessings." The so-called "merely by binding" means that any practitioner contemplates the body of the deity, or binds any desired mudra, or the practitioner binds and contemplates any mudra. The so-called "assembly of Vajrasattva, etc." refers to the assembly of wisdom bodhisattvas such as glorious Vajrasattva. The so-called "fearing the loss of samaya" means that it is necessary to transcend the previously made samaya. The so-called "blessing" means that the practitioner who contemplates and binds the mudra in this way will be blessed in this way. The so-called "person with samaya" means that according to that meaning, it is imputed as desired by the practitioner with samaya. The so-called "nature of the letters" refers to the letters of the dharma mudra of the deity in whom one believes. Self-nature deity
