It is characterized by its own nature. Ultimately, the symbolic seal also arises from its blessings, and the symbolic seal also realizes the ultimate nature. Therefore, both of these can be established as ultimate, and there is no contradiction in calling them seals. The seals thus taught can also be divided into four types according to the differences of body, speech, and mind: the great seal of the body, the seal of commitment, the seal of dharma, and the seal of action. Among them, the great seal is the image of the body of the deities, which shows the behavior of the deities, that is, from the aspect of the body, clearly visualizing the behavior of the deities, because it is a great help for practice, it is called the great seal. It is also divided into two types: the complete body and the seal body. Among them, the complete body refers to the lords of each family, etc., which are complete with the four seals and appear beautiful with clothing and ornaments. The seal body refers to the goddesses of form, etc., who, in order to subdue whatever is to be subdued, transform into the form of their own clothing and rely on being enshrined on a throne, etc. For these, it should also be understood as two types according to the differences between inner and outer, that is, the images made by painting and sculpting, etc., are external, and what one thinks is internal, these are called the great seal. The seal of commitment refers to the behavior of the minds of the deities, that is, the wisdom that is complete with perfect qualities is blessed by the seal of commitment and then taught, that is, it is taught as the seal of liberation of the mind, because the deities do not transcend it, it is called the seal of commitment. Some scriptures say that the secret of the minds of the Tathagatas is said to be the word of commitment, therefore, explaining it extensively will obtain and realize the true meaning, and also because it does not transcend, it is also a commitment. Other treatises say that the seal of commitment of the deity that one wants to practice should be formed, placed in the heart, and the five-pronged vajra seal of commitment should be visualized on the moon mandala in the heart. Other treatises say that there are also those who consider the complete great seal of the body to be the seal of commitment.

Mudra is the manifestation of the language manner of the deities. It is the characteristic of the Dharma letters that have become the sign or mark of the nature of speech that is completely pure, such as Vajrajnana (བཛྲ་ཛྙཱ་ན) and Samayas tvam (ས་མ་ཡ་སྟྭཾ), and it reveals all the ultimate Dharma of the deities' language. Karma Mudra is the manifestation of the conduct of the deities, and it also has two aspects: binding and thought. Binding refers to the characteristic of the Mudra Vajra fist being separated into two, and the Supreme Bodhi Mudra, etc. Thought refers to when accomplishing any deity, all activities are the nature of manifesting pervasively from all natures, and one should contemplate the four-faced Vajra at one's heart. Mantra possesses knowledge and protection, and because it knows the meaning without error, it protects from samsara and the lower realms, therefore it is a mantra. Some texts also say that, accompanied by words of exhortation, I am also called a mantra. That is also the words spoken by the deities after assuming the form of a body. Vidya is for dispelling all the darkness of ignorance. That is also because it knows the extremes of samsara and nirvana, and existence and non-existence, etc., therefore it is said that way, and it is the words spoken when the deities abide in the form of a female body. Blessing is the means to do as one wishes in any way, and it also has two types: natural blessing and power blessing. The ritual for blessing is that whichever deity one wishes to contemplate, or whichever deity one has faith in and is accustomed to, one should clearly contemplate that deity's body as the Great Mudra, and then invite wisdom, etc., and cause the deity to abide, and then according to what is said in the Later Tantra: The Vajradhatu empowerment mudra is, after binding in perfect equipoise, placing it at the heart, between the eyebrows, at the throat, and at the crown of the head, bless the Buddhas. Etc., as it is said until the ultimate end, one should combine and bless according to the lineage of whichever deity one is contemplating. Empowerment is to become the root of everything in order to obtain power over the nature of everything, and it also has two types: empowerment for the sake of empowerment, and empowerment for the sake of generating power. Among them, the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, etc.
