Therefore, since the cause connects with the result, it is shown that the cause is the means of connecting with the result. The word 'but' is a word of certainty or delay, and is a word of doubt. Buddhas cannot accomplish the meaning of sentient beings. Saying this, does it mean that they cannot do the work of sentient beings since they became Buddhas? Or can't they accomplish the meaning of pleasing the Buddha and maturing sentient beings? It is a concluding word. If one wants to subdue beings in one way and wants to obtain and accomplish two kinds of accomplishments, then the means for them to accomplish and obtain is: practicing Mahamudra. If the mudra is manifestly accomplished, then the desired accomplishments will also be quickly accomplished, as stated. If one practices asceticism through the gate of Paramita, then it will not be accomplished in this way, it is said. The opponent says: If so, then what is the need for the many Sutras of the Vehicle of Cause that are successively taught? Or, did the Teacher not teach it? The answer is: It is also true that the Tathagata also taught it, and it is not that it cannot be accomplished as it is taught, but because of the difference between the Teacher and the Vehicle, their accomplishment is extremely delayed, as stated. This is not the case, so it is established in the difference between quick and delayed, just like saying that there is nothing to a subtle appearing thing. If there are also many mudras taught by the difference of each lineage, then what is said here? The answer is: The Mahamudra and other things that make them happy are also like that. Those who say this mean practicing Mahamudra, and the word 'etc.' includes the other three, that is, the means and rituals of how to please the gods through the gate of practicing with the four mudras are also taught in the four lineages, among which, the means of pleasing the Tathagata lineage, the Mahamudra and others included in the Vajradhatu Mandala, at the time of this brief practice, the author should know that it is mentioned here, not others. Among them, the so-called Tathagata lineage is a word that distinguishes it from other lineages. The so-called belonging to the Vajradhatu Mandala is

There it is said that the mandala is separated from the four parts, which is in terms of the root mandala. The so-called "what is said is only a part" means that only what is said there is shown, not others. The so-called "at this time" refers to this time of the practice method. The so-called "should be known" means that the author, I, only talk about this, so that others may know or understand. The so-called "with remainder" means that the following part is to be offered. The objector says: Then, for what reason are only these shown and not others? The answer is: In order not to make these themselves wrong. Here, these are gathered in this way of ritual, and the others, because there is a practice method to please them themselves, are shown there, so they are not written here. Again, the objector says: Then, since many kinds of deities and mandalas are mentioned in the root great tantra, why is the practice method of the deities of the Vajradhatu mandala alone composed here? The answer is: That is also true. However, the reason for showing here is for two reasons: the Vajradhatu mandala is the root of all tantras, and it produces very great merit, because it is able to act equally on everything, so it is shown in this way. Among them, the Vajradhatu mandala becomes the root of all tantras because, first, the prince accomplished all purposes, accumulated two vast collections, and after enduring hardships, took birth in Jambudvipa and showed miraculous transformations, which is showing enlightenment from the aspect of characteristics. In order to show enlightenment from the aspect of mantra, in the Buddha's realm, abiding in the immovable samadhi, from there the Tathagatas of the four families and others of the same kind gathered together, and specifically showed the Sambhogakaya and so on, according to the previously mentioned order, showing the Buddha body called the Great Vajradhatu, which is the root of all the deities. From there, the great wisdom bodhisattvas emerged from their own bodies, became retinues, and accomplished them in the mandala with images.
