It is taught that when accomplishing siddhis, the Vajra Acharya should use or begin the karma of fire offering. Therefore, the word "therefore" should be understood as referring to what was said earlier, "for what reason." The phrase "at the time of inquiring about the mandala, etc." means that at the time of inquiring, entering, and bestowing empowerment, the karma of fire offering purifies sins, and one should perform activities such as accomplishing siddhis. It is taught that one should perform activities as desired. "How to act as desired" refers to whatever activities one desires, such as purifying sins and pacifying diseases and harms. The rest are just particles. In particular, by abiding in what is called "Glorious Vajra Hum," it is taught that, unlike other tantras, in this Condensed Essence, one should perform fierce activities by abiding in the samadhi called "Glorious Vajra Hum," which is taught in the Karma Mandala of the Vajra family. The essence of the four Hums is the essence of the four Hum syllables of the four families. It is taught in this Condensed Essence Tantra that one should recite the Hum syllable as many times as desired, and whatever one focuses on, one should apply the yoga of fierce samadhi. This will be explained below. The limbs of the fire offering are the causes that lead to the accomplishment of whatever activities one desires through the gate of peaceful fire offerings, etc. What are they? They are the deity and the fire offerer, the hearth, the ladle, the pouring ladle, the karma of how to act, and the substances to be burned that are in accordance with it, such as butter and firewood. This is what is said. Among them, the deities of the fire offering are of three kinds, which means that the number of deities to be offered in the fire offering should be known to be generally of three kinds. One is the one who abides in the Vajradhatu Mandala, which refers to all the deities who are invited and offered as appropriate when performing the four kinds of fire offerings of the Vajradhatu Mandala.
