. There are thirty-two attendants. The retinue of the all-pervading deity includes earth deities and water deities, and so on. The retinue of the great deity includes Nanteśvara (藏文,梵文天城体:नन्तेश्वर,梵文罗马拟音:Nanteśvara,汉语字面意思:Lord Nandi), Bhṛṅgīriṭī (藏文,梵文天城体:भृङ्गिीरिटी,梵文罗马拟音:Bhṛṅgīriṭī,汉语字面意思:Bhringiriti), Mahākāla (藏文,梵文天城体:महाकाल,梵文罗马拟音:Mahākāla,汉语字面意思:Great Black One), and Nantikartika (藏文,梵文天城体:नन्तिकर्तिक,梵文罗马拟音:Nantikartika,汉语字面意思:Nantikartika). There are also the deities of the birthplaces of their respective lineages. The phrase "all these distinctions of deities" refers to the fact that, in terms of deities who contemplate meaning and deities of ultimate meaning, for deities who contemplate meaning, there are deities who are completely pure, and it shows the difference from them. Even among deities who are completely pure, there are deities who possess complete purity in the most excellent way, and it shows the appearance of purity that is not the most excellent. It also shows deities who are not completely pure, and these are the distinctions of deities. If we summarize these distinctions of deities, we should understand them as twofold: the distinction between actual and emanated. The distinction between actual and emanated is as follows: the actual deity is the Bhagavan Vairocana. The emanated deity is like the Bhagavan Shakyamuni. The phrase "the distinctions of sentient beings that have become so diverse" refers to the fact that, in this way, with regard to complete purity and what is different from it, and so on, the characteristics that are distinguished and established by the differences in mind among the various differences in thought, due to the differences in power and wisdom, are as follows: due to the appearance of characteristics, they are also called deities of conventional truth. The deity of ultimate meaning refers to the non-dual nature of those deities themselves, that is, the nature of being unified in a state where those deities have become one and there is no distinction, is called the deity of ultimate meaning, and it should be understood as the characteristic of abandoning characteristics. Why is it called ultimate meaning? Because it is the domain of the supreme and sacred activity of completely pure wisdom, that is why it is said. Because completely pure wisdom is only realized and aimed at by unobstructed and unattached wisdom. It is not a realm that others can realize, therefore it is called ultimate meaning. Because it does not change and remains stable through examination. The word "or" is mentioned to add and show another meaning. What is it? It means that all these meanings are distinguished by the ultimate meaning. That is, the realm realized by wisdom, or the nature of wisdom in which the realm and the one who possesses the realm are inseparable, treats deities with the difference of thought.

Because it transcends all worldly and transworldly accomplishments, it is called the ultimate truth. The so-called "completely pure of all faults" means that the nature of mind, which is free from all obscurations, is wisdom, hence it is called the ultimate truth. The so-called "characteristic of supreme perfection of sovereignty" means that the dharma nature of dharma and the mind nature of mind are one and indivisible in nature in the characteristic of purity and emptiness, and also abide in the characteristic or essence of supreme perfect sovereignty. The so-called "for the sake of accomplishing all the special intentions of the ultimate truth" means that it possesses the power of dharma nature that can accomplish and is accomplishing whatever ultimate truth accomplishment is desired, therefore it is called the ultimate truth. It is also known as the ultimate truth, and in some scriptures, the completely pure nature of mind is also called the ultimate truth. Why? Because it always does not deceive everything, and according to the purity and impurity of the mind, it can appear as it is, and it will not change, so it is called the ultimate truth. The characteristic of the nature of mind is also stated in the Sutra Pitaka: 'Son of good family, what is the ultimate truth? In that, even the mind does not flow, what need is there to mention letters?' For example, like space, it exists in name but not in reality, mind, as a verbal expression, exists, but it cannot be pointed out as 'only this', and it cannot be observed, then what need is there to mention words and letters? That is what is meant. The qualities of the Buddha, such as the ten powers, the four fearlessnesses, etc., are roughly counted as forty-four, but if observed carefully, they are infinite and cannot be counted. The so-called unsurpassed means that among all things such as contaminated and uncontaminated, or conditioned and unconditioned, or supramundane, it does not belong under any one of them, so it is unsurpassed. The latter is not explained because it is easy to understand. Similarly, in other tantras, it is also called Tathagata, meaning Vairochana Buddha manifest.
