It is secret because others cannot understand its meaning even if it is explained. It is secret because it should not be shown to them, so that it does not appear in their field of experience. Some people are qualified to hear such a meaning, but they will not develop faith even after hearing it, so it is secret to them. The term 'most secret' means that among those who are not shown it, this should be kept even more secret, so it is called the most secret offering. The offering of the characteristics of the four, such as the Mind-Mother Vajra, causes harm or allows one to ascend. If one makes offerings with this offering, it causes one to descend upon that Dharmata. Because it is difficult for others to understand, it is called the most secret offering. What is it that possesses such a meaning? That is the four kinds of most secret offerings, as stated in 'These are,' and so on. The mind with the senses is unstable. 'Inner cessation' means that by the method of withdrawing the breath, the consciousness with the senses is not allowed to follow after objects such as forms and sounds, but is withdrawn inward. Because those distracting objects are impermanent, it is said to be unstable. Having stopped them in that way, one recites the essence called 'Om Rati Vajra (藏文:ཨོཾ་ར་ཏི་བཛྲ,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ rati vajra,汉语字面意思:嗡,喜,金刚),' which means, 'in order to fully embrace and experience.' That is, one should experience the taste of the samadhi that has been done in that way. 'Its limbs' refers to the limbs of the body of that Wisdom Being. 'Every atom of my entire body' refers to the consorts who are like the elements in my body. 'Like water and milk' means that one should meditate on the deity's body, which is without defilements in conventional truth, and the atoms of my own body, which are with defilements, as being inseparable. 'Supreme joy' refers to the joy and mental ease of experiencing the taste of the samadhi of meditating in that way. 'Completely dedicating the bliss' means that this is the act of dedicating the bliss of experiencing the taste of samadhi to the Buddhas. 'The three offerings that will appear below' refers to the three outer, inner, and secret offerings, such as desire, which should also be offered to the Buddhas in the same way. This act is the first of the four most secret offerings.

Therefore, as stated in the root tantra itself: "Embracing the entire body." And so on, it is said. Then, again, this essence called "Ra Ga Ba Dzra" is called the continuous application of recollection, which means not letting it diminish, but making sure it does not transform into something else. What is meant by "the qualities of realization manifest" is that strength, fearlessness, retention, samadhi, and so on, the aspects of the great qualities of the Tathagata, are clearly remembered in the mind. What is meant by "attachment" is to be attached to and fixated on the recollection of the qualities of the Tathagata, without abandoning the object of focus. What is meant by "again and again, not two" is the wisdom being and the samaya being. What is meant by "offering to the Buddhas" is that this too should be offered to the Buddhas as before. What is meant by "holding firmly" is to hold without loosening, which means that after making it non-dual, the samadhi becomes stable by recollecting the qualities. What is meant by "how is my wisdom the gate of liberation" is that liberation is of the same nature as space, and the sound of bya ka ra Ni (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) refers to both space and liberation as mu ka (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思). Just as space is naturally clear and free from impurities, so too is my gate of liberation naturally clear like space. Although it is like that, just as space is obscured by clouds and so on, so too is my liberation covered by the darkness of sudden afflictions, making liberation invisible. However, the impurity of afflictions is sudden, and when examined from the ultimate point of view, it has no inherent nature. Therefore, this gate of my wisdom's appearance is completely pure and without fault. For that reason, the gate of my own wisdom's purity is equal in taste to the gate of liberation of my own deity's wisdom, which is completely pure and without attachment. Thinking in this way, the characteristic of considering the two liberations as one is called "entrusting to liberation," which means recognizing that the two liberations are not different. Therefore, the faculties of these two, what is meant by "having form and being formless," refers to my faculties having form, such as the eyes, and the liberation of the deity.
