The Lord is inseparable from the wisdom nature of great emptiness. It can be contemplated as being transformed from the moon, or residing on the moon, or being non-dual with the moon itself. In any case, there is no fault. Or, "in the center of the heart," this is the antidote to clinging to a single aspect. One should contemplate one's own mind as being a very subtle mandala of the moon. Or, "having two moons," this refers to overlapping moons, intended as the cause for perfecting the two accumulations. "In the center, meditate on the vajra," means that whether one meditates on a single moon or overlapping moons, in the center of the moon being meditated upon, there is a vajra as a sign, which is the nature of the five wisdoms, intended as the result of perfecting the two accumulations. Or, "with the vajra in the center," means that contemplating the mind as a vajra pervades the entire body, and the body should be contemplated in the same way. Therefore, it is said, "one's own body is pervasive." "Extensive" means that many different kinds of methods have been taught, and this is just a brief demonstration. Like this, in whatever order, it refers to meditating on the subtle vajra and emptiness, meditating on impurity, meditating on the moon, and in these orders of meditating on everything as vajra, taking any one of them, and meditating to the extent that one desires. The so-called "meditating for the time that one desires" means how many days, months, or years one wants to meditate, or which of the four times one wants to meditate, one should meditate until that time. "With the characteristic of one-pointed focus" means that focusing one-pointedly in this way, in whatever way one focuses, one accomplishes in that way, and this is when the mind has become free. If one knows this, then one should begin to engage in the activities that one wants to accomplish. The so-called "earthly attainments, etc." refers to earthly activity, which is the accomplishment of treasures arising from the earth. The word "etc." means that in the manner of later arising, one can include other attainments such as walking on water, etc. Therefore, it is said that earthly attainments, etc., worldly and transworldly, Mahamudra, etc., arising from meditation on accomplishments, should all be accomplished. The so-called "Mahamudra, etc." refers to Mahamudra and the resulting

The Accomplished One said: "That which arises from meditation" means that whatever kind of accomplishment is desired, it arises from the practice of manifesting the mind. Therefore, meditation is said to be the cause of accomplishment. There are two kinds of yoga practitioners: those who have a basis of previous practice and those who do not, and they are distinguished in this way. One of these refers to those who, abiding in the mandala, immediately receive wisdom as soon as it is attained. These individuals, through practicing worldly accomplishments such as Sapa, or simply through reciting mantras, can achieve results because they have a basis of previous practice. The other refers to those who, even after entering the mandala and invoking wisdom, must meditate and recite until signs appear, in order to achieve what they desire. This should be understood as not possessing a basis of previous practice. The opponent says: "Then, what should those who wish to achieve accomplishments such as the Great Seal do, if they cannot achieve them even after entering the mandala and invoking wisdom, and if they cannot achieve them quickly even with merit and power?" (Answer:) For the supramundane Great Seal and other accomplishments of vows, Dharma, and the four activities, those who cannot attain accomplishment through power when entering the mandala due to insufficient merit should know that they can be attained by meditating on the characteristics that will appear below. Some, due to possessing merit and karmic connections, can attain accomplishment merely by entering the mandala and invoking wisdom, while others cannot. It should be known that accomplishment can be achieved by practicing and cultivating the methods and characteristics of the four hand seals as they will appear below. So, are the methods for accomplishing worldly and supramundane accomplishments, and for joyfully accomplishing the four hand seals, the same or different? In this regard, worldly and supramundane accomplishments should be achieved through the yoga of the vow-being of one's own deity, as has been declared. Therefore, in accomplishing these accomplishments, the practice of the vow-being should be manifested, and wisdom
