The cushion is also without fault. Sāraṇa Vajra means 'Vajra spread out.' However, how much should one consider doing it like that? It is said, 'Then, after thinking like that for a long time,' and so on. This essence is also the mantra mentioned above. 'Experiencing the touch' means: Thinking that those breaths have been exhaled and then slowly drawn back, one experiences the feeling of staying in the nose for a short while. Those discriminations that are only Vajra, from the reunion of those, the yogi, having subsequently realized the nature of a single subtle Vajra, meditates in the same way until it reunites at the tip of the nose. Om Samgraha Raṇa Vajra means 'Vajra reunited.' After that means: After reciting that mantra, reciting the essence of Vajra Dṛṣṭa, one should make the mind very firm. This is just for now, although all tantras have their own methods of taming the mind with desires, the doctrine of this Tattva Saṃgraha Tantra generally teaches the samadhi of the subtle Vajra, so it teaches that one's own mind should be tamed. So how do other tantras think? In the Vajraśekhara it says, 'When the subtle Vajra is taught, impermanence,' and so on. From the great Vajraśekhara Tantra, what is taught as a method of taming one's own mind is: Impermanence is the antidote to the view of permanence and eternity. Impurity is the antidote to those who lust after purity. Emptiness is the antidote to those who desire substantiality. Many images of the moon are taught as an antidote to those who divide in one direction. The word 'etc.' includes illusion and mirage, etc. Furthermore, it is taught that for whatever kind of afflictions, the corresponding antidotes are taught, and thus they are tamed. What is the cause? It is taught that there are other forms of samadhi, such as the subtle Vajra, which are the tantras that cause the mind to abide equally. The opponent says: Then what is said in the root great tantra and what is said here seem inconsistent, why do you think they are not the same?

Thus, they should also make the mind abide equally. There is no contradiction in doing as one wishes, it is said. Although the methods may seem inconsistent, it seems that they are spoken for the purpose of making the mind free, so even if they seem inconsistent, there is no fault. Therefore, in addition to these, these benefits also arise. Why? In that, in that samadhi, it becomes the antidote to afflictions, and it also becomes the cause of making the mind abide equally, it is said. As it is shown, it is also said in that very scripture: I am the Dharma of Vajra Fine Dust, I myself possess mindfulness, I am without an object, the body of the four great elements. Such and so on are said. I am the Dharma of Vajra Fine Dust means that the mind with grasping and attachment is meditated upon as Vajra Fine Dust. I myself possess mindfulness means that with self-nature, one should abide in the self-nature of possessing wisdom and contemplate. I am without an object means that by this it is determined that the inner mind itself is realized as self-nature without an object. The body of the four great elements means that at the same time, it is also understood that external objects are also not established. How is it? What is the origin of the four great elements? Those four great elements are also observed with the wisdom of observing each separately, and analyzed separately to determine, how can there be real establishment? In any case, it is the meaning of non-establishment. Or again, this whole body, it is said to be shown as the antidote to clinging to purity alone, because it is born from impure causes. It is said that because karma and afflictions also generate samsara, it is impure, because it is born from the extremely impure semen and blood born from failure. Starting from the crown of the head, the yogi, it is said that because the thirty-six impure things pervade the body and become its abode. Think of it as pervading from the sole of the foot to the middle, it is said. Yogi means that the wisdom of the yogi should understand it in this way. Fearless in the moon, it is said to be the antidote to viewing as real, the moon in the water is the nature of uncertainty, having fearless wisdom, it means to practice it in that way. Or again, contemplate oneself as Vajra, it means
