Although there are many statements about Vidyadharas, here it refers to the practitioner of secret mantras or knowledge mantras. Why? Because they are able to fully grasp its kind, hence the name. These three vows are also like that, but one should practice the vows as stated in the scriptures one has entered. "Clean and the clothes are also clean." This is because one possesses non-conceptual samadhi, is separated from conceptualization, and it is clear that the mind cannot be purified by external ablutions such as washing. Some say that internally one possesses non-conceptuality, and externally one fears and clings to even the slightest faults. A pure companion also has such a meaning, or is without any kind of deteriorated faults. The Vajra vow is supreme, because the samaya that appears in the Vajrayana scriptures is supreme among all vows. One should focus on the mudra, which means one should always abide in the union of the four mudras. Abiding in the three vows means that in the Vinaya of the Hearers there are the scriptures of individual liberation, the vows of the Bodhisattvas are like the ocean, and the vows of the mantras are taught by dividing them into root and branch. Guarding these is abiding in them. Confession and prayer, etc., means that all seven branches should be fully included. Releasing the mudra is the third. Saying "releasing" implies binding. First, one should meditate with the four mudras, and similarly, in the end, one should also release them. Abiding in the vows means that one should not be separated from the three vows mentioned above. Having shame and knowing embarrassment means doing so based on oneself and others. The clothes of the Conqueror, the Tathagatas are able to overcome the first without guarding the three doors, and for sentient beings, they are able to overcome by guarding through possessing antidotes. They are not established on the clothes of the Action Tantra. These are called clothes in this context. Why are they called clothes? For example, in the world, just as wearing clothes does not reveal the flesh of the body inside, in this way

If one possesses these merits, the faults of transgressions will not appear, hence it is said thus. "Abandoning what is not to be eaten" refers to foods and drinks not permitted in the scriptures, and even if desirable, they should not be accepted. "Unpleasant and unclean odors" refers to things that sentient beings consider delicious and clean, but are specifically disparaged in the scriptures. "One should not do it even in the mind" means to completely abandon the five poisons of desire, anger, ignorance, pride, and doubt from the mind, as they harm oneself and others, and cause bad deeds. "The seven acts of lust" refers to the Tathagatas' condemnation of attachment to the object of desire, women, which yogis should also completely abandon. What are the seven? A man who pours semen into both at all times; sending letters to meet women with words such as arranging a time; teasing with frivolous words upon seeing them; grasping and touching limbs, completely embracing; looking at each other's faces and kissing; because of being very attached to the object of desire, engaging in intercourse and experiencing the pleasure of sexual contact; afterwards, recalling and contemplating; and having the prior thought of wanting to meet again and again. These seven are said to be prohibited in the Yoga Tantras and should be abandoned entirely. "Abandon by meditating on ugliness" means that if lust arises, one should contemplate the body as the impure thirty-six substances, thereby completely abandoning it. As stated in the Vibhanga, "One should not look at another's wife, and if one sees her, one should generate the thought that she is one's mother, sister, or daughter. If lust arises, one should truly contemplate impurity." It should be understood as such. "Always strive to do good" refers to the roots of virtue arising from conditioned phenomena and the practice of the Paramitas, but in this context, it refers to striving to manifest the habit of repeatedly awakening the mind. Thinking about the meaning of "Napo." It means that although one may practice the great sutras of the Perfection of Wisdom, here it refers to practicing the meaning of this Vajrayana as it is. The conduct of a Bodhisattva is vast. It means that although a Bodhisattva benefits others with vast conduct, here it refers to benefiting others with a mind that has manifested the samadhi of meditative concentration. Skilled in the Perfection of Wisdom. It means that possessing the aspect of complete purity of the three spheres is the aspect of the Perfection of Wisdom, and having become skilled in that meaning, one practices accordingly. Pray again and again, which means there are three aspects. For those Buddhas who uphold the Dharma, one prays for the turning of the wheel of Dharma to benefit all beings who do not teach the sacred Dharma. For those beings who wish to cling to the extremes of eternalism, one prays that they do not enter into complete nirvana, but rather teach the sacred Dharma and ripen beings, staying for a kalpa or more, or even for endless kalpas, in order to refute such views. And one states that it is not appropriate to pass away before the deeds of the body that has attained the difficult-to-obtain state of Buddhahood are completed. And one prays to the Tathagatas and others for whatever types of siddhis one desires from one's chosen deities. Enemies, friends, and neutrals. It means that one should be able to generate equanimity towards enemies and those who tend to be close, and to generate equanimity towards those who are dear to one's heart. Subduing hatred means to approach these aspects with antidotes. The selflessness of phenomena and persons means to be free from the views of non-Buddhists and Hearers, and to possess the view that is definitely of the Mahayana lineage. All conditioned things are merely illusions. It means to recognize that they appear in that way due to the power of illusion, by which one grasps as existent what is in fact non-existent. A stable mind with direct perception.
