Therefore, as mentioned above, separate from the seat of the Vajra Fist's samaya mudra, and form each hand into individual Vajra Fists. First, one should form the respective karma mudras. Why? Because, as stated in the tantras, all samaya mudras arise from the Vajra knot and the joined lotus palms, while all karma mudras arise from the separation of the individual Vajra Fists. This is the reason stated where. Among them, first, the karma mudras of the five Tathagatas are: sitting in the lotus position, with the left hand in the Vajra Fist touching the heart area, and so on. Now, the karma mudras of the sixteen great Bodhisattvas will be explained. First, the karma mudras of the four Bodhisattvas of the East are: placing the Vajra Fist on the left shoulder, and so on. The karma mudras of the four Bodhisattvas of the South are: placing the two Vajra Fists at one's own empowerment site, and so on. The karma mudras of the four Bodhisattvas of the West are: touching the heart area with the left hand in the Vajra Fist, and so on. The karma mudras of the four Bodhisattvas of the North are: extending the left hand in the Vajra Fist forward, and so on. Now, the karma mudras of the eight goddesses will be explained. Among them, first, the karma mudras of the four secret goddesses are: placing the two Vajra Fists on both sides of the armpits, and so on. The karma mudras of the outer offering goddesses are: pointing the two Vajra Fists downwards, and so on. The karma mudras of the four wrathful mothers are: making the index finger of the right hand in the Vajra Fist like an iron hook, and so on. The formation of the karma mudras has been explained. Now, the Dharma mudra will be explained. The so-called Dharma mudra is the establishment of the teachings of the Tathagatas, the proclamation of the twelve divisions of scripture, and the writing of the letters of the teachings, which is called the Dharma mudra. That is, in the Compendium of Reality,

Sa-gyä Dorje Yeshe, said these words. For example, just as a material vajra can destroy all other things, the wisdom of the Buddha is like a vajra, which can destroy all afflictions. The vajra realm is stable. This means that, from the ultimate point of view, the vajra realm is the dharma realm; from the conventional point of view, it is the mandala of Vairochana Buddha and Shakyamuni Buddha. Romanized Sanskrit: vajrajñāna, literal meaning: vajra wisdom) refers to the complete manifestation of the Buddha's body on the tongues of these Buddhas, which is the dharma seal of the Five Dhyani Buddhas. Now I will explain the dharma seals of the sixteen great bodhisattvas. First, the dharma seals of the four bodhisattvas of the east are: Samaya Tvam, which means "vow you," referring to glorious Vajrasattva. Anaya Sva, which means "hooking," refers to hooking the noble ones and sentient beings, i.e., Vajraraja. Aho Sukha, which means "Alala Ho," is the meaning of supreme, referring not to the peace of the nirvana of the Shravakas, but to the great joy arising from the great compassion of benefiting sentient beings, i.e., Vajraraga. Sa, which means "Good, good," refers to offering to the noble ones and benefiting sentient beings, i.e., Vajrasadhu. Now I will explain the dharma seals of the four bodhisattvas of the south: Su Maha Stham, which means "very great" or "extremely great," refers to bestowing the great power to rule over all, i.e., Vajraratna. Rūbo Dyota, which means "light illuminates," refers to how the sun dispels darkness and illuminates all things, just as the sun of wisdom dispels ignorance and illuminates the truth, i.e., Vajrasurya. Artha Prabha, which means "attaining benefit," refers to how the wish-fulfilling jewel and the precious banner fulfill all the wishes of oneself and others, attaining benefit, i.e., Vajraketu. Ha Ha Hum, which means "laughter," refers to laughing at the thought of others attaining Buddhahood, i.e., Vajrahasa. Now I will explain the west
