The eight pillars are the nature of the eight liberations. What are the eight liberations? This is the first liberation: one who has form contemplates forms. This is the second liberation: one who internally has no form contemplates external forms. This is the third liberation: having realized the liberation of beauty with the body, one dwells in its completion. This is the fourth liberation: having completely transcended all perceptions of form, the perceptions of resistance have ceased, and not attending to various perceptions, thinking "space is infinite," having perfected infinite space, one abides. This is the fifth liberation: completely transcending all of that infinite space, thinking "consciousness is infinite," having perfected infinite consciousness. This is the sixth liberation: completely transcending all of that infinite consciousness, thinking "there is nothing at all," having perfected the sphere of nothing at all, one abides. This is the generation of the birth of nothing at all in all ways.

Superior to other vehicles, what is shown is the way in which the Vajra Vehicle brings all beings to maturity. In order to fulfill the wishes of all beings, its nature is: a palace with characteristics made and mixed with various jewels. Furthermore, between the edge of that palace and the accumulation of the limits of faith, are jewel trees, whose leaves are completely ripe, and at the top of the trees, birds such as Kalavinka speak meaningful verses with pleasant voices, flying in the sky, and the lakes of the eight qualities of water meander, inside are the shapes of flowers, the petals of flowers such as Mandarava and great Kumuda are in full bloom, and gems such as Bushara and Indranila are spread on the ground, from which emanate various rays of light, illuminating everything and opening wisdom. Many garments are born from the illusion of silk trees, completely covering them. Possessing the perfect fragrance of discipline, the smoke of incense is continuous, the scent of ointment makes everything feel satisfied, and great clouds filled with everything gather, and many different kinds of goddesses reside inside and outside, holding inconceivable forms of offering, pleasing others with various costumes, etc., these are all produced from the special power of Samadhi. Adorned with special objects born from the mind, gods, goddesses, and sons of gods, as many as the fine dust of the Buddha-fields, with singing, dancing, musical instruments, as well as clapping, fluttering, flying, spinning, dancing, charming, graceful, etc., holding the characteristics of completely pleasing the noble ones, these should be contemplated. For example, the perfection that appeared when the Tathagata himself, in the palace of the King of Gods, explained the meaning of the Great Tantra King, the Collection of Auspicious Self-Nature, etc., one should generate faith in this. Therefore, in the four directions, the words such as gate and horse-landing place are also spoken. The seats of the deities residing there
