What kind of evil view leads to downfall? Even those who hold the vajra should abandon it. That great being who has abandoned it will repeatedly wander in the three lower realms. As long as they are in the realm of samsara, they will experience unbearable suffering. Thus it is said. To whom should this be shown? It is said in that very text: The vajra realm is great bliss. The wise should show it to those who are skilled in empowerment and who always possess the supreme secret. Thus it is said. As it is said, abiding by the vows that have been spoken means always practicing internally, so external acts of purification and practices such as asceticism that harm the body should not be done. It is said in this very text: Here, vows and purification are not needed. Austerities and asceticism are not needed. By uniting with all the Buddhas and great beings, one will achieve accomplishment. Thus it is said. Also, in the Compendium of All Thoughts, which definitively explains the meaning of all the tantras of yoga, it says: Even for the sake of one's life, one should not abandon bodhicitta. The vajra, bell, and mudras should never be abandoned. The Three Jewels should not be abandoned, and faith should not be completely abandoned. Vows should not be abandoned, and one should not cause oneself suffering. Do not revile the acharya, the guru is equal to all the Buddhas. One should never disparage all mantras and mudras. Wheels, vajras, lotuses, etc., anything that is slightly marked, those who desire accomplishment and know how to use them should not step over or consume. Likewise, inferior women, the shadows of deities, the guru's seat, and so on, these four, the wise should always abandon, and do not step over them with your feet. The three sins of the body, the four sins of speech, and the three aspects of mind, likewise, all of these should not be practiced. Thus it is said. Furthermore, due to the influence of place and time, placing things where they should not be placed, and trampling on things, etc., are important for those who possess vajra power and for the yogis of the Great Seal. Therefore, if these two do things that should not be done due to the influence of place and time, then stepping over and trampling, etc., will not be faults for the yogis. As it is said in other texts: Due to ignorance or delusion, or likewise due to laziness or forgetfulness, one tramples on vajra patterns, etc.

Certainly, vows will be broken. Therefore, with all diligence, with the power of the vajra, without distraction, the wise should always practice. Especially in the mandala. Inferior drawings, the names of vajras, collections of Buddha's mudras, etc., even if they are inferior or smudged, the one with the power of the vajra will not incur fault. Thus it is said. Having made it subject to the yoga of mudras, it is also said similarly. In the place of the sound called 'vajra power,' the sound called 'yoga of mudras' should be pronounced, thus it is particularly held. For now, here, the mudra of vajra power and the yogis of secret mantras are shown as follows: Drawings or vajra threads are also not allowed. Having lifted them upwards with the mind, entering and emerging, vows will not be broken. Thus it is said. Mentioning vajra drawings and vajra threads is also a characteristic of proximity. Therefore, other things that should not be placed, such as mudras, should also be regarded as included. This is the mudra of the mind. Its mantra is this: Vajra Vega Akrama. In other places, it is also said like this: The one who possesses the vajra power himself, saying 'Vajra Vajra.' Sanskrit Romanization: vajra vajra,Literal Chinese meaning: Vajra Vajra), it is said to be vajra power, accomplishing pervasive movement. Other combinations of mudras are also said to be in accordance with the combination of one's own deity. That which is most famous from this text will be explained later. What is mentioned again from other texts is: Through the yoga of one's own deity, I become all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Therefore, contemplate well here. The combination of all mudras is extremely secret. Thus it is said. The meaning of the word 'yoga' is also mainly shown in that very place. Like this, for example, just as gathering many things is called a combination, similarly, combining all mudras into oneself, all the yogas of vows, are shown in the context of being called 'yoga of vows.' Combining all mudras into oneself, whatever the shape and body, arranging them correctly within oneself and following them. Thus it is said. In another way also, combining oneself with Vajrasattva, whatever the shape and body, combining all mudras into oneself, not
