Because the mind called "essence" can be realized, it is called essence. Here, in the great mandala of the Vajra realm, reciting the names of Vajrasattva (བཛྲ་སཏྭ།, Vajrasattva, Diamond Being), Vajraraja (བཛྲ་རཱ་ཛ་, Vajraraja, Diamond King), etc., is to show the samadhi of the Tathagatas and great Bodhisattvas such as Vajrasattva, hence it is called essence. This essence can also make one realize the mind called essence in one or two times, that is, at the time of accomplishing the desired siddhi and at the time of meditating on the samadhi of one's own deity. To explain this, it is said in the sutra: With the ritual desired in the heart, Whatever is desired in the heart will be accomplished. Abiding in the essence of accomplished samadhi, Therefore it is called essence. The phrase "abiding in the essence" also means that when a yogi meditates on the samadhi of Vajrasattva, etc., or wants to obtain the desired siddhi corresponding to its place, life, body, color, etc., he recites Vajrasattva (བཛྲ་སཏྭ།, Vajrasattva, Diamond Being), Vajraraja (བཛྲ་རཱ་ཛཱ་, Vajraraja, Diamond King), etc., in his mind, and performs recitation or meditation. Therefore, the essence of Vajrasattva, etc., enters the heart, so it is considered to be abiding in the heart. Similarly, when explaining the definitive meaning of mudra, it is also said: The meaning of non-destruction is like this, The king is the supreme sign of the mudra. The great self-existent form, Therefore it is called mudra. Here, the phrase "the great self-existent form" refers to the mudras drawn in the mandala of Dharani, such as the Vajradhatu Isvari, etc., which are no different from the teachers. Therefore, it should also be known that the letters and words of the mantra are also called mudra. When explaining the definitive meaning of mantra, it is also said: It is not to be destroyed and is firm, Difficult to break and is secret. For the sake of accomplishing the secret, the mantra holder, Therefore, it is definitely known as mantra. Here, it is also praise and secret. If combined with the definitive meaning of speech, then the essence and mudra, etc., are also speech, therefore, these are also called mantra.

Although it may become an opportunity for action, however, what is said in the mandala of Dharma refers to the letters and words of the deities' recitation as secret mantras. The mandala of Dharma mainly refers to the treasury of inexhaustible speech, which is considered to be the blessing of transformation. The definitive word explaining the vidyā-mantra is that it completely dissipates the two obscurations, or understands this world and the other world, or through it obtains all perfect meanings, therefore it is called vidyā-mantra. Here, it refers to the nature of the deities spoken of in the karma-mandala. The mandala is also considered to be blessed by the activities of the Tathāgatas. The activities of the Tathāgatas also have the characteristic of eliminating the afflictions and the two obscurations of knowledge of all sentient beings, and accomplishing all the desired siddhis of many beings. Therefore, destroying ignorance, and accomplishing the supreme wisdom of speech, there exists supreme siddhi, therefore it is called vidyā-mantra. Thus it is said. The distinctions between heart-mantra, mudra, secret mantra, and vidyā-mantra have been explained in detail. Now, for all four lineages, the distinctions between heart-mantra, mudra, secret mantra, and vidyā-mantra, as well as the rituals of recitation and other branches, are also generally explained, and these should also be summarized here. This is also because of the nature of things, some differences in the activities of rituals are mainly heart-mantra etc., and some are the cause of accomplishment. Therefore, through the gate of distinctions such as heart-mantra, the remaining parts of the Dharma previously spoken are explained. First, the tsog offerings etc. for accomplishing the heart-mantra will be explained. Among them, from the characteristics that appear above, the ritual of outer offering is the ritual of tsog offering. As it is said: After performing all the offering rituals, the tsog offering of all virtuous dharmas will increase, therefore it will surely be accomplished. Thus it is said. Here too, it should be understood in this way. For those who are diligent in mudra, secret mantra, and vidyā-mantra, the rituals of outer offering will also become a branch of accomplishment,
