For myself or in front, meditate on the recollection of the Buddha. If all mudras are bound, then that is accomplished immediately. Thus spoke the Buddha, the Bhagavan. Thus, in order to accomplish the great mudra and so forth of the great Bodhisattvas of the Tathagata family, having performed all the rituals to be performed in the past, such as the yoga of the Samaya-being, contemplate "I am desirous," and on the night of accomplishment, recite the essence of the mudra. As it is said in the chapter of the Tantra of Supreme Accomplishment of the Tathagata family: To accomplish all mudras, contemplate "I am desirous," and by the yoga of Vajra recitation, all supreme accomplishments are accomplished. Thus spoke the Bhagavan Vajrasattva. Now, I shall explain the yogas for examining one's own realm of the superknowledges such as the divine eye. In this regard, whether the yogi is accomplished or not, first, having mastered the samadhi of the Vajra-subtlety, manifest the yoga of one's own deity's Samaya-being until the end of the descent of wisdom. If one wishes to see with the divine eye forms that are cut off by other objects, or obscured by houses, mountains, walls, and so forth, then one should believe that they are in the form of objects as if they were present in front, and meditate on the mental activity of seeing them. One should cause the object of form to be known to arise with the object of the eye with appearance, and the discrimination of appearing separately. Then, from the mind of those two aspects, the immediately preceding cause of the arising of the superknowledge of the divine eye arises, and thus, the yogi will undoubtedly have the knowledge of the form of the object that appears very clearly, such as blue, yellow, white, and so forth. By manifesting the collection of such causes and conditions, and by generating the power of meditation, even an unaccomplished yogi will generate the knowledge of the appearance of the form of objects such as forms that are far away, as if the objects were in front of him, such is the Dharma. Even one who possesses such discrimination

Even through yoga itself, and through seeing true and unfailing dreams about its meaning, one will undoubtedly experience its meaning. All these rituals for generating clairvoyance of the divine eye should also be understood as combining with clairaudience and other siddhis. In particular, for clairaudience, one should manifest the ear consciousness as a siddhi. The object is offering to other places, etc., and even hearing the distinctions of sounds such as ants. As the tantra says, the difference in the objects of the divine eye and the divine ear is as follows: Abiding in the great mudra, releasing the eye consciousness, whatever slightly falls upon it, even the extremely distant will be seen. Similarly, abiding in the great mudra, releasing the ear consciousness, whatever need is thought of, even from the extremely distant it will be heard. Thus it is said. A yogi who wishes to know the minds of others should also perform his own deity's great mudra according to the ritual. For the object whose mind one wishes to fully understand, even if they are located at a great distance, one should visualize them as if they are in front of oneself. By distinguishing what kind of sentient being they are, the yogi will clearly manifest the nature of mental discrimination that corresponds to their thoughts, and thereby one can undoubtedly understand the mental discriminations of others. Because the realm of meditators is inconceivable, one should not engage in inappropriate speculation here. Thus it is said: Abiding in the great mudra, releasing the mind consciousness, whatever sentient being is distinguished, one can recognize that sentient being through their mind. Thus it is said. Similarly, a yogi who wishes to know the past through his own and others' feelings should also bind the great mudra in the same way, mentally distinguishing his own or others' forms, and practice yoga, contemplating what state he or that sentient being was in in the past. If accomplished, some yogis will be able to recall their own and others' past lives, and even if not accomplished through the power of yoga, they can through such practice due to concentration.

Just as in a dream, appearances arise in each lifetime, including those not long past. As it is said: Meditating in the Great Seal, whether it is oneself or another, whatever form is seen by the mind, one is sent to that place in the future. Thus it is said. The specific manifestations of miraculous powers include walking in the sky, invisibility, various forms, being obscured and unobscured, rapidly traveling long distances in the sky, transforming external objects such as mountains and cities, turning substances like clay into objects like gold, and making impermanent objects remain for many years. For a yogi who desires such specific miraculous powers, they should bind the mudra of their deity as before, and manifest any realm of miraculous power, such as flying in the sky. Meditate on its form until the desired miraculous power truly arises. As it is said: Meditating in the Great Seal, whatever miraculous power is desired, in whatever place, one should observe it through meditation. Thus it is said. Another method for completely knowing the nature of others' minds is as follows: First, bind the Great Seal of the Tathagata and bless it in this way: May the glorious Vajrasattva appear in my heart or before me in the same form as the nature of that sentient being. Having thought in this way, meditate on seeing Vajrasattva in one's heart or before oneself, until Vajrasattva clearly appears in the form of that sentient being's mind. When Vajrasattva appears as clear as crystal, one should know that their mind is pure and without impurities.
