also meditates and acts as he pleases. Therefore, it is said that one should recite with one hundred and eight vajra words. This is just a statement of close meaning. Therefore, other than that, the ritual for pleasing great beings such as Vajrasattva is also this. Therefore, the meaning is as follows: As it is said, a mantra practitioner who cannot perform the yoga of his own deity's samaya-being, merely reciting the essence of the mantra to be recited, with its meaning, blesses the deity to be recited, and contemplates having empowerment, samadhi, and offerings. In front, he also meditates and recites in the same way, which is the final conclusion. Even with just the words of the meaning of the essence, one can accomplish the samaya-being. This second aspect is taught to those who only want to attain accomplishment through recitation, but not to those who can attain accomplishment through meditating on the Great Seal and so on. How is it? In the later and later tantras, in the chapter on recitation, it is widely proclaimed that "this secret is not suitable for those who have no attachment to wrong views," and so on. Even through the meaning of the essence, one transforms oneself into the body of a Buddha, and in front, one also meditates on the body of a Buddha with just words, and acts as one pleases. Therefore, it is said that one should recite with one hundred and eight vajra words. Because in other scriptures, the order of blessings and so on is also explained in detail, that is to show the great nature of the secret mantra to those who are incapable. Therefore, there also appear teachings that show how to abbreviate from the extensive, as it is said in the Great Samaya Reality Differentiation. Because there, the blessings and so on of all the Buddhas spoken of in all differentiations are shown in detail, and by showing the power of the essence called "Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ།,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) ," the Great Bliss Vajra Samaya, it is proclaimed that "here there is no need to destroy the wheel of non-desire," and so on, but the blessings and so on of this place are not discussed either. Why is that? Because just remembering it in this way, one can obtain the blessings of all the Blessed Ones.

It is widely said that this will become blessing and empowerment. Therefore, through both extensive and concise methods, in order to first gain control over one's own mind, one should unite oneself with the samayasattva of one's deity, and perform self-blessing, empowerment, samadhi, and offering. Meditate on the Vajra Subtle Samadhi. As it is said here, when explaining the benefits of the Vajra Subtle, from then on, whenever one meditates on extremely calm shamatha-vipassana, one should make all of these stable, and examine them with the wisdom of samadhi. Thus it is said. The Vajra Subtle, in reality, refers to the wind on which one's own mind relies, characterized by exhaling and inhaling from the nostrils. In order to practice it, the extremely subtle thing that arises from it and is related to it, as subtle as the tip of a hair, extremely meditate as small as a sesame seed, or in between the two. In this way, yogis visualize the Vajra Subtle at the beginning of the nose, shaped like a fruit or five-pointed, with a color and luster similar to their own deity. Because by contemplating it, the wind exhaled from the nose abandons its nature of flowing in and out, and by contemplating it as filling the two nostrils and abiding, it universally generates a feeling that is consistent with the touch, especially the abiding of the mind. Therefore, especially yogis who wish to accomplish the siddhi arising from samadhi must first determine to practice the Vajra Subtle. As it is said when explaining the mandala of the four mudras: Combine the ritual of the Vajra Subtle, bind the wisdom mudra, through the yoga of this ritual, master the wisdom mudra. Thus it is said in this tantra. In other scriptures, while practicing the Great Seal and so on, this meaning is also mostly taught, and it should be examined there. The order of the Vajra Subtle Samadhi is as follows: First, recall how you practiced the samayasattva of your deity, then manifest the order of touching the palate with the tongue and remaining calm, and recite in your mind the essence of the Vajra Subtle arising from the exhaled wind, the characteristics as spoken.

Carefully examine the tip of the nose. Within the nostrils, experience the blissful touch of the subtle vajra wind, inseparable from one's own mind and unmoving, thereby making body and mind workable, and experience it accordingly. As it is said: With the tongue touching the palate, one should meditate on the tip of the nose. By touching that subtle vajra, the mind will become calm and abide. Thus it is said. This is the essence of the subtle vajra. Om sūkṣma vajra (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思:Om, subtle, vajra). Then, after experiencing the touch, also recite this essence in your mind, exhale slowly, and visualize the place where your own mind wanders, the nostrils, and the subtle vajra wind that wanders there, scattering like dust by the wheel of wind, transforming into many extremely subtle vajra weapons, gradually, as seen and heard, pervading the realms of the three existences, and meditate with the mind that follows it. As it is said: When the sign of the blissful touch of the subtle vajra arises, that sign should be expanded, and the mind should also be universally expanded. By expanding the mind as desired, one should also pervade the three realms. Thus it is said. This is the essence. Spharaṇa vajra (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思:Expansion, vajra). Then, having contemplated in this way for a long time, also recite this essence in your mind, and by experiencing the touch of withdrawing the breath, thereby withdrawing all those collections of vajras, and distinguishing them as a single, extremely subtle vajra, afterwards
