Like water merging into water, one should realize one's own innate wisdom. So it is said. What is one's own innate wisdom? Realizing it is "phyag" (Tibetan) here. As it is said, the essence of enlightenment, the wisdom of the Buddha, abides in the continuum of all sentient beings, and if that is realized, all sentient beings will be liberated from suffering. So it is said. Furthermore, this is clearly taught in all the Sutras and Tantras of the Great Vehicle, therefore, the emptiness of objects and the self-luminous nature of the subject are inseparable, which is the mind of enlightenment. It is the root of all the qualities of the Buddha, so disbelieving and abandoning it is abandoning the root of the Dharma. If that is not realized, liberation and omniscience will not be attained. Therefore, even the Hearers realize the distinctions of the Dharmadhatu. Thus, the teacher Nagarjuna said: "By realizing the unborn, there is nirvana; the Hearer, a person without self, is liberated by realizing the distinctions of the Dharmadhatu; the wise should examine their own minds; the distinctions of the Solitary Buddha are small; all phenomena are unborn, all-knowing." So it is said, it should be understood in the heart. Therefore, it should be realized, in the Tantra of Distinctions it is said: "Enlightenment is the nature of space, abandoning all discriminations; whoever desires to realize it is called a Bodhisattva." So it is said. Therefore, one should aspire to it, enter into it with diligence, and strive to show the path, otherwise it is abandoning it. Therefore, entering the mind of enlightenment, whoever desires to realize it, removes all obscurations and makes all demons extremely afraid. Just as a lamp, as soon as it is born, dispels a thousand years of darkness, so too, a lion cub destroys even the most aged predator. So it is said, it is the root of all the Dharma. Abandoning it is a downfall. One should regard the mind of enlightenment, like a jewel, as the conventional truth of the meaning of words, and for the sake of enlightenment, it should not be abandoned by the vow-mother or the actions of the hand, even if one does not look after one's own mind, one should take it with the tongue. So it is said. Furthermore, at the time of secret empowerment, one should, through familiarity, descend and bestow something similar to the wisdom of the Buddha. Otherwise, abandoning it is a downfall.

Furthermore, it is taught in the Tantra of Means and Wisdom that one can abandon through wisdom and the practice of yoga from the Samaya Mother. One should also understand the time when union becomes the actual basis. The basis of distinction is also that. One should learn to follow the sequence in refuting. One should fulfill with the same sequence of empowerments. Furthermore, it increases by three hours, five hours, nine hours, seventeen hours, twenty-eight hours, thirty-five hours, forty-seven hours, fifty-five hours, and sixty-two hours, and it is satisfied by pleasing the great bliss and the mandala of the four joys in those Samaya sequences and so on. Therefore, Indrabhuti said: If one deviates from the Bodhicitta of reality and convention, with the reality of reality itself, how can convention be taken back with the tongue? One should learn from that. If semen is discarded, the root is lost. Counting from the hour, the four joys, through practice, one is released from that stain. Therefore, one should never enter without a Samaya consort and a complete yogi. Furthermore, this is the root of downfall, if one abandons the Vajradhara, one falls. Thus it is said. Therefore, one should strive to attain stability. Furthermore, for the sake of beings with desire, the doer of this is the Vajradhara. Thus it is said. It is also said in the Wisdom Tantra: Just as fire burns, one should warm oneself with that fire. Just as water enters the ear, one should bring it out again with that water. A person with desire should be tamed by desire itself. Thus it is said, and one should also know that for those with stability, this will become the path. If it is not so, but one follows desire, inclining towards the side of mere sound, then one will become a downfall and coarse, etc., therefore one should confess in the Sangha, restrain it from entering the unreal, then fulfill and learn its meaning, thus it is said, this is the fifth, therefore it is the fifth, that is, the explanation of the fifth downfall. Now, wanting to explain the characteristics of the sixth downfall, one's own or another's established tenets, to revile the Dharma is the sixth. Thus it is said, oneself refers to those who speak of no-self, and others refer to outsiders. One should not revile them. Others are the Mahayana Sutras.
