To clarify. The meaning of "co-emergent, universally acting, peaceful" is that whatever is co-emergent is shown to exist universally in all beings. Thus, for the time being, not knowing the nature of co-emergence is together with suffering, therefore it is called sahaja. That is also said like this, in the Tantra of Hevajra of the Five Hundred Thousand Verses: "All sentient beings are suffering, the lament of ha (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, meaning sigh) arises. The nature of aging and death, sentient beings, now arise together with suffering." Again, it says: "The birth of all sentient beings is that the life-breath of ha (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, meaning sigh) goes out, aging and death arise from its power, therefore strive for no aging and death." Again, it says: "However much the essence of semen is, that much is the breath of ha (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, meaning sigh), it drips from the root gate, that is where birth and death reside." Again, it says: "All these sentient beings are bound by the pride of I (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, meaning I, pride), they commit sins by clinging to lineage, therefore abandon the clinging to gods and lords of the earth." Thus it is said. Furthermore, reversing from those aggregates of suffering, if a person abides in the suchness of the dharmas that are co-emergent from the beginning, then he abides in the nature of peace, and again it is said, in the Suchness of Hevajra of the Five Hundred Thousand Verses: "Everything abides in its own nature from the beginning, it abides by playing and rejoicing in ha (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, meaning joy), it abides without aging and death, it enjoys by co-emergence." Again, it says: "All these sentient beings breathe out with this, they are born from a non-existent basis, this is co-emergence." Again, it says: "All beings are empty from the beginning, not made empty by any cause or condition, from this there is no birth or old age, thus it is said to be co-emergent." Thus it is said. Therefore, the meaning of the word co-emergent should be understood in that way. The meaning of "constantly arising and abiding in itself" is that, as in the order mentioned above, it abides in all sentient beings. The meaning of "inexhaustible at all times" is that, now the nature of happiness and suffering mentioned above, both states are exhausted and cleared, and on the other hand, all the Buddhas

The nature of entering the realm of all Buddhas is the abandonment of examination by conceptual thought. It is said that whatever is the entry into the realm of all Buddhas cannot be attained by the yoga of conceptualization. 'Abides within self, outer, and inner' means that the unexamined Suchness abides in the nature of all moving and unmoving things. 'Not born from outer and inner' means that although it abides in all moving and unmoving things, it does not abide in the manner of being produced and producing. The meaning of the words 'union' is that it abides perfectly at all times in what abides in the moving and unmoving. That is to say, the co-emergent is a characteristic that is free from the extremes of being or non-being, or transcendence of both, or permanence or impermanence, or happiness or suffering, or self or non-self, or day or night, or samsara or nirvana, whatever is said. Therefore, all moving and unmoving things abide without interruption, so it is understood. If beings are endowed with this Suchness, then what is the use of the guru's instructions? It is said in the scriptures that enlightenment cannot be attained except through the scriptures. For example, a poor woman has a son in her womb who rules the four continents, but she only thinks of begging. Likewise, ordinary people are the same. Therefore, sentient beings, truly rely on the treasure of the guru's qualities, this is its meaning. Born similar to what? Therefore, it is called co-emergent. It is said that the Suchness of co-emergence abides together with moving and unmoving things, therefore it is said so. Those with conceptual minds have not touched the non-inverted Suchness of co-emergence, therefore it is said that co-emergence is without conceptualization. Co-emergent arises from non-conceptualization. It is said that co-emergence to all Buddhas, bestows perfect enlightenment. It is said that whatever abides in the way it abides, therefore the Sugatas also attain perfect enlightenment.
