The Commentary on Sahajasiddhi The Commentary on Sahajasiddhi In Sanskrit: Sahajasiddhipattati Nama In Tibetan: The Commentary on Sahajasiddhi. Homage to Bodhisattva Vajrapani! In the immaculate source of Dharma, a pure and delightful sacred place, To prevent the entry of the four maras, such as the skandhas, Having well-sealed the doors of the four immeasurables, I pay homage to all who have entered the ranks of guides. Having prostrated at the feet of those supreme beings, Because beings do not understand the innate realization, For the benefit of beings, I, the glorious woman, write this immaculate commentary on Sahajasiddhi. Why is this so? It is because the nature of Sahajasiddhi turns outward, causing the beings of Jambudvipa to indulge in sinful deeds. As it is said in the great yoga tantra called "The Prophecy of Intentions": Then, the secret lord of the Bhagavan, the Bodhisattva Vajrapani, was instructed: Secret Lord, the way to understand the meaning, If this great way is obtained, Without grasping the meaning as it is, Therefore, one falls into evil paths. Always with manifest pride, Extremely joyful and endowed, The yogis call themselves "I," Practicing Dharma with deceit, Therefore, not knowing the gathering, Practicing vows and so on, Not speaking of secrets, But proclaiming them everywhere. Slandering and disrespecting the teacher, Who is like the Buddha before one's eyes, Anger in an instant, And regret in an instant as well. With mother, sister, daughter, and so on, Committing sexual acts in inappropriate places, Killing father and mother, likewise, Killing many other beings as well. Likewise, speaking false words, And especially stealing. Going to another's wife, And committing other faults as well. That person does not know The vows of self-arisen wisdom. Even with a slight fault, Violent actions will manifest. The physician skilled in yoga, The mantra practitioners will not achieve. Delighting in the treatises of externalists, Therefore, not skilled in practice.

And, if one abandons one's own vows, like an elephant without a hook, one will wander in all desires. Through the union of mantras and mudras, one can also obtain the necessities of life. Wherever one obtains it, one will expound the great secret mantra teachings. Thus it is said, therefore I will well explain the profound principle of co-emergence, which is difficult for Hearers, Solitary Realizers, extremist wanderers, and eternalists and nihilists to conceive, which is sealed by the Buddhas of the three times, and which is transmitted from ear to ear to those who completely rely on the Guru. Furthermore, briefly speaking, the collection of texts that explain this co-emergence: First, from "Glorious Playful Goddess" to "Again and again, I prostrate to all," is the oral instruction of co-emergence, from the place of glorious Orgyen, from the emanation of the Bodhisattva Vajrapani, the history of the lineage transmitted from one Guru to another. This co-emergence itself ends the afflictions of ignorance, therefore it is Yama. And the lord of the earth, the powerful one, with wisdom completely renounced the kingdom and went forth, relying on charnel grounds, etc., showing the beginning of the story, and showing homage to the former Gurus. From "At their feet" to the two lines "should be spoken," is the composition of co-emergence. From "All-pervading, co-emergent, peaceful" to "Fire element is not found in the text," is the explanation that the nature of co-emergence pervades all moving and unmoving things, but cannot be found except from the Guru's mouth. From "Born similar to what" to "That is obtained without effort," is the experience of the taste of Samadhi in the manner of effortless action after obtaining it from the Guru's mouth, and the explanation of the definition of co-emergence. From "Without doubt and without thought" to "Co-emergence is obtained," is the explanation that after experiencing co-emergence, one does not separate from it even during times of eating and walking, etc.

From "It is. Free from thought and directly perceived." to "One should definitely express the co-emergent." it shows that due to the urging of the non-conceptual co-emergent, it has sixteen parts of compassion and the nature of the waxing moon. It shows that it is co-emergent to sentient beings, dharma, and objectlessness, etc. From "This co-emergent by all things." to "Wandering in the cities of beings." it explains that this co-emergent is the basis of all happiness and suffering, and the basis of disputes for all holders of views and tenets. It shows that any sentient being who does not know the co-emergent will not be liberated from the heap of suffering. From "In the body of the Buddha's own nature." to "Did he not commit sins?" it shows that those who do not recognize the nature of the co-emergent and do not regard it as their own nature are sinners. From "The self is definitely all Buddhas." to "Truly dwells in all things." it shows that all sentient beings are the nature of Buddhas, etc., because the co-emergent pervades all things. From "Gods and non-gods and dragons, etc." to "Fools do not know because of ignorance." it shows that gods with self-views such as Brahma, etc., and prosperous sages, etc., cannot know the co-emergent. From "Because of not knowing the supreme position." to "He does not know everything." it explains that because of not knowing the co-emergent, many tenets are held and disputes are shown. From "The Great Vehicle is very vast." to "That lama liberates beings." it shows that the co-emergent shown in the secret vehicle is the teacher who has come from one lama to another, and that lama can cut off the root of afflictions. From "The object of meditation is related to the meditator." to "Completely contemplate as manifest." it shows the instructions to the yogis who are learning.
