Instead of searching for a lama who will one day plant barley, it is better to seek a master called "Sahaja Vajrayogini." Having heard that there is now a venerable lama in a certain town who relies on a yogini and practices yoga, the yogi went there. The yogini perceived the weaver's intention and said, "Weaver, your great thought is excellent! Quickly enter the sacred wheel of the mandala! I will quickly fulfill the great aspiration of you, great man." The weaver was overjoyed and touched the ground with his head, prostrating at the yogini's feet. By entering the mandala first, he received the supreme empowerment. The weaver thus attained the state of dwelling in the signless realm, entered the realm of all Buddhas, and achieved true accomplishment. He also revered other yogis, practiced the ways of a weaver, and engaged in yogic conduct. Such is the conduct of Yoga Joyful Vajra. "Vajra Brahmin Woman": In the sacred place of glorious Oddiyana, there lived a Brahmin woman named Vajra, who was well-versed in bathing and purification practices, believing that purification and liberation could be attained solely through bathing and cleansing. At that time, she was bathing on another riverbank and, after bathing, made offerings to her beloved deity. The yogi Joyful Vajra heard about the Brahmin woman's past and present, having heard it passed down from one weaver to another. He thought that he should subdue this Brahmin woman, so the weaver went to the riverbank where the Brahmin woman was bathing. The Brahmin woman was also bathing there, and they met. The weaver said to the Brahmin woman, "Brahmin woman, do you bathe in this way to purify only external impurities? Or do you also seek inner purity?" The Brahmin woman replied, "I seek purity both internally and externally, as the great Brahma has also taught." The yogi Joyful Vajra said, "Brahmin woman, I do not object to your pursuit of external purification. But if you wish to truly purify your inner nature through external bathing, then I do not approve. For as it is said: If...

Therefore, if one considers bathing as purification, then even fishermen would have done something meaningful, let alone the fish and so on that live in the water day and night? Thus it was said. Furthermore, from the seed of rice, only rice will grow, not weeds. Similarly, from the root of afflictions, only afflictions will arise, not purification. The Brahmin woman said: Then, please show me the bathing that purifies the inner self. The yogi said: Purify yourself with the bathing that requires no effort of body and speech, and your inner and outer will be completely purified. She said: Great being, I do not know such a bathing, please explain it well. Having said this, she filled her hands with flowers and offered them along with her upper garment. The yogi said: Brahmin woman, just as clouds arise from the realm of completely pure space and dissolve into it, or just as fish arise from a completely pure river, Brahmin woman, you should observe your mind. Initially, the water of wisdom that enters the realm of all Buddhas will wash away all the stains of clinging to self. After teaching in this way, the yogi returned to his abode. That Brahmin woman also realized the principle of wisdom that enters the realm of all Buddhas as it is, and guided and abided with other Brahmins who clung to self. Such was the situation of that Brahmin woman. Similarly, the one named Accomplished Vajra Auspicious, in that very place of glorious Orgyen, there lived one named Cutting Action Accomplished Vajra. He was discouraged by his inferior body, and having heard that there was a yogini named Vajra the Brahmin woman, he went to visit her. That yogini also understood his intention, and bestowed upon him the Uposatha vows, and finally placed him in the mandala called "The Assembly of All Buddhas Equally United," and caused him to reach perfection in the yoga of conceptual thought. That yogini, knowing the wishes of his heart and his vast aspiration, when the cutter entered the realm of all Buddhas, in an instant, she showed the empowerment called Treasury of Space.
