He taught: O Foremost One, know this. It is good that you abide by your vows. Speaking the truth is good, but continue to abide by your vows. Vows bring joy to beings and are respected by all. The Foremost One then asked: O God, is the so-called vow simply speaking the truth? He taught: O Foremost One, a vow is speaking the truth and acting as promised. He asked: O God, if speaking the truth fulfills all the affairs of this world, and if speaking the truth is a vow, then what is the vow that leads to meeting with gurus, Buddhas, and Bodhisattvas and never being separated from them? He taught: O Foremost One, if I were to reveal the vow that leads to meeting with gurus, Buddhas, and Bodhisattvas and never being separated from them, you would not believe it. Because of that, O Foremost One, it would not be good if you were to fall into the uninterrupted hell. He asked: O Lord of the Earth, I have no disbelief. He taught: If you abide by the vow of the body, speech, mind, and inexhaustible wisdom of all the Tathagatas of the three times—past, present, and future—you will never be separated from gurus, Buddhas, and so forth. Furthermore, you will also see the inconceivable qualities and precious Buddha-fields. He asked: I do not know that vow. He taught: O Foremost One, first examine your own mind individually. Then, place that mind in the inconceivable expanse. By doing so, all vows will be fulfilled, and you will meet all the Buddhas. Having said this, he remained silent. The Foremost One, merely by thinking of that vow, saw the inconceivable qualities and precious Buddha-fields. O Foremost One, such is the conduct of the yogi called Vajra of Vows. Thus, Padma Vajra Glorious! The one called Padma Vajra Glorious, in the land of glorious Oddiyana, there was a farmer named Padma Vajra. Previously, he had little attachment to self and other, and he dwelt in a state with little discrimination between pure and impure. Then, at another time, while plowing a rice field, due to the work of farming...

Feeling weary and with great sadness arising, he thought, 'It is said that yogis reside in this place of Oddiyana (Udyana, located in present-day Pakistan). I too shall seek the true path through yoga and practice the conduct of yoga,' and thus he made a vow. The leading yogi, knowing his vast and excellent aspiration and seeing that he had the capacity, went to that place called Padma Vajra, the farmer. When Padma Vajra, the farmer, saw him, he was overjoyed and touched his feet with his head, saying, 'Noble great man, if you are a yogi, please show me the conduct of yoga.' The leader said, 'Son of good family, the conduct of all yogis is great, entering the realm of all Buddhas. Practice the conduct that is not moved by the storm of yogic conceptual thoughts, and the conduct of yoga will be perfected.' Having said this, he returned to his own yogic abode. Padma Vajra, the farmer, well understood the great conduct of all yogis, which is to enter the realm of the Buddhas and not be swayed by the wind of conceptual thoughts. And in that very instant, he also saw that the place of Oddiyana was adorned with various jewels, filled with yogis and yoginis practicing in the manner of mantras, and with those who attain accomplishment merely through realization. Such was the conduct of the yogi Padma Vajra. Lhundrup Dorje (Coemergent Vajra): In that very place of Oddiyana, there lived a wine-selling woman named Lhundrup Dorje (Coemergent Vajra). That wine-selling woman thought, 'Ema! I always consume this wine that is brewed to fulfill all the affairs of the world, and it is not right to sell it to others. It is said that there is a wine called Lhundrup (Coemergent), which is an offering to all the Buddhas of the past, present, and future. Therefore, I have heard that the yogis residing in this place of Oddiyana are enjoying it. I too shall seek out some yogis, find that wine to enjoy, and show it to others.' She thought this in her mind and also spoke it in her words, and then...

Going where, please show me the taste of the wine that is born with me. Thus she spoke constantly. The yogi Padmavajra knew her vast mind and saw that she would manifest the fruit of the great seal. So, he happily went to the wine seller, and just by extending his hand, the wine seller was very happy and bowed her head at the feet of the yogi Padmavajra, and prayed like this: Great being, please show me the drink that is born with me. The yogi Padmavajra said this: Son of lineage, the wine that no one has made, that the Tathagatas drink without exhausting, that awakens from the sleep of ignorance, in the wilderness of samsara, named 'va' that exhales breath, drink it, that is entering the realm of all Buddhas, also called the inexhaustible treasure, also called the inconceivable realm. Son of lineage, rest in that samadhi, Originally the wine born together, the Buddhas enjoy, able to give to all beings, you will taste and relieve thirst. Having said that, he went from the va-gate to the place of yoga. That wine seller also just rested in that samadhi, and experienced the realm called the inexhaustible treasure of the co-emergent drink. The way of the yogini co-emergent vajra is like that. Likewise, Hevajra auspicious. Called Hevajra, in the place of auspicious Oddiyana, there was a yogi named Tagapa Hevajra, whoever saw him would generate a joyful mind. Tagapa only praised the yogic conduct practiced by his companions, and he himself thought like this: I am preceded by the wheel of the mandala, having received empowerment from the excellent lama, abiding in the realm of the signless, associating with those yogis, serving their feet, how wonderful that would be! He always thought like this in his mind. So, Tagapa immediately completely abandoned the remaining tasks, and completely obtained (the teachings) from the excellent lama, and after completely obtaining, the signless
