There are three reasons: all dharmas arise from other causes and conditions; the nature of what is born cannot be pointed out as "what is this"; and it does not completely depend on other causes and conditions. As it says in the scripture: "The very beginning without beginning or end, the unborn Vajra Samantabhadra." The absence of inherent existence means that the inherent existence of existence, non-existence, both, and neither is absent. As it says in the scripture: "Do not cling to self, do not cling to other, do not cling to both." And again, as it says: "From self and other, all is completely absent, arising from self and pervading self." Pervading all means that all phenomena of appearance and existence are pervaded by Mahamudra, so it pervades all. As it says in the scripture: "Like the sky, it pervades all." Everything is completely perfected in the continuum, everything is that itself, and does not change into anything else. As it says in the scripture: "Everything is completely perfected in the continuum, everything is that itself, and does not change into anything else." Unchanging means that during the time of samsara, the time of purification, especially the time of purification, and the time of manifestation, there is no change from Mahamudra itself. As it says in the scripture: "In all times, that itself appears, without change, it is supreme wisdom." The spontaneous perfection of the four kayas means that that reality is free from all superimposition and denigration, it is the Dharmakaya; personally experiencing that reality is the Sambhogakaya; and the manifestation of various different names from that reality is the Nirmanakaya, these are just nominal designations. In reality, all of these are unconditioned, so it is the Svabhavikakaya. As it says in the scripture: "Abandoning duality is non-duality, the experience of great bliss is the second kaya, various manifestations are the third kaya, and the nature is one." It is the fruit that is free from fruit and defilement, which has eight aspects: from practice, the future suchness wisdom, the self-nature is unborn, with the accomplishment of the wisdom of the path, therefore the continuity is not interrupted, and the obscurations of knowing the absence of self-nature, etc., are eliminated, becoming the basis of all perfections, samsara and nirvana themselves are one, possessing the body of impartial great compassion, the sole body of great bliss. Thus, it should be known to be free from the eight defilements. Furthermore, it is free from the defilements of the three joys from the three moments, because Mahamudra is the reality of co-emergence. The Mahamudra of Samaya
