That which should not be taken or abandoned as its very nature, because both affirm self-nature. That is also because it is unbearable to examine, so it is devoid of the characteristic of being unique. How, for the sake of truth, for the sake of beings entering the Great Vehicle, did he show the distinction of abiding? Even so, it is not the definitive meaning of the Great Vehicle, because it is the guiding meaning. The main definitive meaning is selflessness, which, when meditated upon through hearing and thinking, will surely produce results. As it is said in the King of Samadhi Sutra: Know the distinction of the sutras of definitive meaning, the emptiness taught by the Sugata, again, persons, sentient beings, and individuals, know all dharmas as guiding meanings. In the selflessness of dharmas, they individually discriminate, if they individually discriminate and meditate, by that cause, they will attain nirvana, nothing else will become a cause of peace. All dharmas are always empty of self-nature, the prince meditates on objects, everything becomes empty by everything. The emptiness of everyday life is for the heretics. Thus it is said. It is said in the Entering the Middle Way: Therefore, the object that is extremely profound, whoever does not understand it, that should be greatly relied upon. The alaya exists, the selflessness of persons exists, only by these aggregates, and the Buddha who has abandoned the view of the destructible collection, how does he show "I" and "person," thus all things by their nature, non-existence is what the guiding meaning proclaims. Thus it is said. Or, with form, not without form, this is called what the Yogacharas desire, what should not be taken or abandoned, that is close to taking and abandoning. Because they affirm the nature of being empty of the objects of grasping and grasper, therefore they affirm self-nature emptiness, because of the nature of selflessness, therefore there is no suchness, so in the guiding meaning it is shown as only mind. As the venerable Nagarjuna also said: All these are only mind, taught by the Great Sage, because it completely cuts off destruction, so it is not its own nature. Thus it is said. Or, with form, not without form, this

The task is to clarify the key points of Madhyamaka with aspects and Madhyamaka without aspects. Because Śāntarakṣita and others assert Madhyamaka with aspects. As it is said: The things spoken of by myself and others, these dharmas have no self-nature. Because they are devoid of the nature of one and many, like reflections. If any object is analyzed, it and its essence are not one. If there is no essence of one, then there is also no essence of many. Devoid of one and many, objects with other forms, these two are not allowed, because they exist mutually exclusive. Therefore, these objects possess the characteristics of conventionality. If they want the meaning of these objects, what can I do about it? For objects that are unanalyzed, pleasing, and have the nature of arising and ceasing, the nature is conventional. Following the path of reason, the nature of all objects is to prevent the desires of others. There is no room for argument. Pleasing when unanalyzed, relying on the previous cause, the later effect is similar to it. Therefore, if conventionality has no cause, saying permissible or not permissible is not permissible. If this is the correct immediate cause, please state it there. Therefore, in reality, no object is established. Therefore, the Tathāgatas declared that all dharmas are unborn. Because it is in accordance with the ultimate truth, this is called the ultimate truth. In reality, it is liberated from all collections of elaboration. This object of cause and effect, because it is irreversible in conventionality, from universal affliction to complete purification, etc., the placement is not mistaken. That which has become cause and effect is also only knowledge. Whatever is established by itself, that cannot be known. The self-nature that is established by itself is also like the essence of dreams and illusions. Therefore, form, etc., the mind, also does not desire to exist in external objects. Relying only on the mind, one can know the unreality of external objects. Relying on this method, one can also know its extreme selflessness. Riding the chariot of these two methods, holding the reins of reason, they therefore
