The other shore and the nature, that is the karma mudra. By attaching its support to anything, it can also be called the foot by the meaning of approximation. From anything, relying on the mudra, the nature of wisdom and knowledge is praised, and it is only the nature of changing things. What is called following the image of co-emergence refers to the fruit of the same kind of co-emergence. Such various forms of the same kind are joy. After that, the blue and yellow and other dharmas, the five manifestations of enlightenment, and the absence of things such as the purity of the gods. Becoming the only beautiful means, the nature of the dharma realm comes from practice, and the nature of complete non-dwelling is the dharma mudra. This is a continuum that is inseparable from the great mudra, so it is the path. Maturation is the fruit of maturation. The moment of maturation is great joy. After that, because it is sealed with three mudras, this is both great and a mudra. The nature of non-dwelling that comes from deliberation is the wisdom of the path, which is practiced with reverence and continuously. Manifesting the unreal, eliminating the obstacles of knowledge, etc., becoming the basis of all perfections, samsara and nirvana are one in nature, possessing the body of great compassion without object, the only body of great bliss, is the great mudra. This is the fruit of being free from all obstacles and without defilement. That is the moment of being free from characteristics, which is the joy of co-emergence. After that, for the sake of the expression of vows and the benefit of sentient beings, the complete enjoyment and the nature of incarnation, what is the form of Heruka and the incarnation of Vajradhara, is the vow mudra. That is the fruit of what the man does. The distinction in that is the joy of separation from joy. Thus, the mudras are the cause in terms of the former, and the effect in terms of the latter. That is, each mudra is the nature of the four joys.

In order to teach, on each of the hand seals. Said "named" and so on. What is called hand seal and each hand seal is: On each hand seal, one should know the four joys, but not on the great hand seal. For the meaning of these, through "scripture and one's own reason" and so on, the three causes are shown. Among them, what is shown by scripture is: The first joy is various, the supreme joy is mature, the joy of separation, the joy of pervasion, the co-emergent joy is without characteristics. Such as, etc., in the Hevajra, etc., first saying various as the first joy, and then explaining in sequence. Therefore, wherever various and so on appear, there also establish joy and so on. Those also arise from the three hand seals, but not from the great hand seal. The nature of various kinds will be explained, this nature is the nature of one's own awareness, which is clear. The oral instruction of the lama is, it will be explained as named various and so on. In order to teach the four joys, it is said that on the karma hand seal's body karma itself, after proclaiming the nature of the four joys, in order to show the nature of the four joys on the speech dharma hand seal, it is said named various and so on. Because of the reason of the karma hand seal and the words showing the oral instruction of the lama, the extremely differentiated various appears as the nature of the goer, therefore it is various kinds. From practicing that itself, it is determined that the appearance that appears as various has disappeared, that is maturity. There, contemplating the nature of the goer reaches the extreme, there is nothing that the appearance depends on, that is without characteristics. Like that, the emptiness that is the supreme and complete of all kinds, named the nature of the goer that is relied upon, the yogi, through contemplation and so on, generates stable intention towards extreme non-abiding, abides in suchness, observing the goer is thinking, that is joy of pervasion. For these various and so on, the four joys should also be combined in sequence. Here also, "Thus, thus, the fourth also", is like before. Because the supreme of extreme joy is only a number

With the words "the four are determined," when the nature of all that is born together manifests, the four joys of the Dharma seal become one, which is the supreme joy. The Dharma seal has been taught, and in order to teach the great seal of the mind's own nature, which is one in the nature of being born together, it is said, "Does not abide in all." The so-called "all" refers to the aggregates, realms, and sources that arise dependently. The so-called "not abiding" refers to the absence of attention and the absence of superimposition. Thus it is also said: "The Dharma of attention is virtuous, and the Dharma of non-attention is non-virtuous." As it is said in the scriptures, and likewise: "Unthinking of all concepts, not abiding in the mind, without memory, without attention, I prostrate and praise the unconditioned." This is how it is taught. Here, it should also not be clearly stated that it is not possible to practice like the oral instructions of the jewel ornament on the crest of the Taka that dispels epidemics. Because by relying on the kindness of the holy lama, one will definitely be able to directly realize the great seal that possesses all the supreme qualities. However, here, how is it not the nature of the four moments? Therefore it is said, "Because it is stainless, because it is self-knowing." The so-called stainlessness is because the three moments, such as the various kinds, are stained, so they do not arise here. Likewise, the three joys also do not arise. If it is said that not abiding is inconceivable, but if one thinks about it, it becomes an obstacle, so it becomes stained. In order to dispel this doubt, it is said, "Which wisdom is effortless?" That wisdom, too, does not arise from examination because it has no place. How is it? It is effortless, arising from its own nature. How is it? When contemplating what should be contemplated, when does one not think, and why does thought not arise there? That, too, is because wisdom is accomplished. The Buddha's wisdom is spontaneously accomplished, therefore it is not spoken of as discrimination. Because there is no cause for thought, therefore not thinking is also not non-existent.
