Also without a place. Faults all become extreme, Things, that nature, has no change. All sufferings' source of origin, Non-existent, that also is not it. Existing and non-existing, that nature is not, Turning into other, also not complete severance. Therefore, having direction is not reasonable, At that time, all-knowing is without change. True wisdom, clear knowing nature, Pervading, Vajra body nature and, Without change nature, and also, All-knowing nature, is accomplished by that. Having form, pervading nature is, Therefore, it is not the Vajra body. In that, there is no non-transformation, All knowers, thus without change. Gradually knowing, whatever it may be, This is not all conceptual thought, Knowable things are limitless, This is not accepted as all-knowing. If there is a well-spoken knowable, A fraction of a direction is the only nature, This, even after thousands of millions of eons, Also cannot know, becoming transformation. If born and then becomes destruction, Therefore, should not cause to arise. Extremely well-abiding wisdom, Is only a mistaken aspect of destruction. If there is going and coming, becoming transformation, In that, there is no pervasiveness. Moving and staying in one direction, That then becomes the nature of destruction. If there is a formless Dharma nature, By what does that become destruction? Knife and poison and non-existence and water, Cannot cause harm either. Space, all-abiding self-nature, Unchanging, equal to space nature, Without afflictions, without change, All aspects, all times. If there is not all times, That also, all-knowing is without change. Therefore, in all times, Should know that there is no change. Having bodies, etc., in all, Great wisdom nature abides, however, Not knowing, covered by extreme darkness, Children, foolish, cannot know. Like a dog towards a donkey, Pursuing, throwing, does but not, Likewise, what the mind thinks, Pursuing, the mind, that nature is not. If there is what the mind thinks, In that also, definitely can understand, The mind, that nature, what is it like, In the mind, then, destruction does not arise. By wisdom accomplishment, that nature, abiding, establishing, is called the twelfth chapter. Extremely foolish worldly beings, If there is another who well exhorts, For the sake of liberation, my own self, Even a cliff can be abandoned. Becoming foolish.

There are also many such. With such practices, Completely abandoning the Sugata's path, It seems to rely on the path of hell. Some are blind, Yet they guide others. What should be examined, they examine; What should be asked, they do not ask. If, due to the control of ignorance, They do not see the path, even if they guide, They will, through the sinful path, Obtain the decline of progress. Without seeing the path themselves, How can they truly guide others? If two blind people travel together, Both will undoubtedly suffer. Just as a blind person, through action, Entered a desolate monastery, Both are the same. How can they enter a city? Similarly, because they have become blind, Not seeing true wisdom, If they cannot attain that state, How can they liberate others? Therefore, the guru who is relied upon, Is not truly endowed with qualities. "Should be completely examined," The Supreme of Buddhas thus proclaimed. Naturally taking refuge in the Three Jewels, Having compassion for all sentient beings, Having qualities such as stability and generosity, Greatly increasing all merit, Truly generating the mind of enlightenment, Having virtuous wisdom and qualities, Without anger, and very joyful, Particularly devoted to the profound Dharma, That is the excellent Dharma giving, Without attachment, and always joyful, Always having few desires, Correctly accumulating the two accumulations. That is the guru, the Buddha, And Vajradhara, as all have said. He is the guide of all sentient beings, The leader of the world. Other gurus who are spoken of, Having wrong views and manifest pride, For the purpose of destruction, etc., They teach the excellent Dharmas, In the world, he is a friend of the sins of beings, He dwells greatly in the world. He is of the lineage of the side of Mara, He is the one who destroys himself and others. Should be avoided, should be constantly shunned, Should not be served and revered, Should not be angry with him, Nor should be very close. Just as the Shravakas and listeners, Do not associate with those disliked by the Sugata, Similarly, should not with such a person, Live together. The thirteenth chapter on the characteristics of the guru from the Accomplishment of Wisdom. From the previously spoken characteristics, The (characteristics) of being a guru are explained.
