Furthermore, it is accomplished by possessing skillful means. Therefore, as it is said in the scriptures, "Without Bodhicitta, virtuous deeds do not enter." So, for the benefit of sentient beings, one should focus on the great goal, and what arises from that is the fruit. Thus, one who possesses the nature of the great secret mantra cannot be accomplished by an inferior person. As it is said in the scriptures, "One who has little learning and is full of pride, speaks much without concealment, and cannot be tamed, is a person like sandalwood." Such individuals are not suitable. Then, to whom should it be explained? To one who possesses the fortune of the Completion Stage, who is constantly adorned with conduct, that is a precious person, a vessel capable of receiving teachings as a disciple. Thus it is said. Such a person is like a king of cattle, and will become the cause of manifest realization. The ten perfections, etc., should be fully explained as the nature of all the perfections. The ten are giving, etc. As it is said in the scriptures, "Giving, ethics, patience, diligence, meditation, wisdom, skillful means, strength, aspiration, and knowledge, these are known as the ten perfections." Therefore, in order not to be confused about the essence of the Buddha's words, it is well distinguished, namely, material giving, fearlessness giving, and Dharma giving. Guarding vows, accumulating virtuous Dharma, and benefiting sentient beings are ethics. Enduring suffering, not minding harm, and the armor, application, and ultimate completion of patience for the profound Dharma are diligence. Accomplishing qualities manifestly, being immovable, and benefiting sentient beings are meditation. Hearing, thinking, and meditating are wisdom. Not being disgusted with one's own faults, benefiting sentient beings, and quickly attaining enlightenment are skillful means. One's own retinue constantly, etc., and being connected with benefiting sentient beings, and aspiring for the Buddha-field to be completely pure are aspiration. Not falling into karma and the ripening of karma, not accumulating afflictions, and not being shaken by demons and adversaries are strength. Discriminating between conceptual and non-conceptual, having the same taste, and not transcending everything are knowledge. Obtaining is that all of these are grasped by wisdom.

It has been understood in the heart. The word "斯 (ste)" means to include others. To abide in ten is to practice well, and the term "abiding in ten" can also be added, meaning: liberation can be attained through the practice of emptiness, and the remaining practices are for this purpose. This is the meaning of what is said. The pure ten is the merit of the three wheels being completely pure, and "having" should also be added. The ten knowledges are knowing the Dharma, knowing accordingly, knowing the minds of others, knowing the conventional, knowing suffering, knowing the origin, knowing cessation, knowing the path, knowing exhaustion, and knowing non-arising. The pure nature is what has been known, and being separated from it becomes the Middle Way. The one who possesses purity is the one who has abandoned both what is to be abandoned and the one who abandons, and has attained the great bliss of non-duality. The ten inversions are views that mostly become worldly views, namely, clinging to oneness, clinging to cause, clinging to food, clinging to the agent, clinging to independence, clinging to permanence, clinging to complete defilement, clinging to purity, clinging to the yogi, and clinging to the non-liberated as liberated. The so-called ten meanings are that the ten clingings are completely purified, and they become the ten suchnesses, and when suchness is separated from name, it is called meaning, which is the fundamental suchness, the suchness of nature, the non-inverted suchness, the suchness of the result, the suchness of the cause, the suchness of the pure realm of activity, the suchness of the summary, the suchness of the division, the suchness of the wise, and the suchness of the gross and subtle. The meaning of the Sage of the Shakyas is Manjushri Jñanasattva. The ten powers are the power of knowing what is and is not the case, the power of knowing various aspirations, the power of knowing dhyana and samadhi, the power of knowing liberation and samapatti, the power of knowing complete defilement and purification, the power of knowing karma and the maturation of karma, the power of knowing the path to all destinations, the power of knowing the recollection of past lives, and the power of knowing death and birth.
