Thus it is said. By meditating in this way, there are no limbs of conceptual thought, and it transcends the realm of expression. An excellent samadhi is like the samadhi of the four dhyanas. One also knows these, and also knows the limbs of the samadhi dhyanas of others. That is, in the desire realm, one also knows the dhyana that is predominantly vipashyana. In the formless realm, one also knows the dhyana that is predominantly shamatha. In the form realm, one also knows the dhyana that unites shamatha and vipashyana. Thus, the four dhyanas have eighteen limbs. The first dhyana also has five limbs, namely: vitarka (thought), vicara (investigation), joy, happiness, and one-pointedness of mind. The second dhyana also has four limbs, namely: joy, happiness, inner clarity, and one-pointedness of mind. The third dhyana also has five limbs, namely: equanimity, mindfulness, awareness, happiness, and one-pointedness of mind. The fourth dhyana also has four limbs, namely: purity of equanimity, purity of mindfulness, purity of feeling that is neither happiness nor suffering, and one-pointedness of mind. The venerable one knows all of these. Furthermore, one also knows the samadhi of courageous conduct, the samadhi of the precious seal, the samadhi of the lion's leap, the samadhi called the glorious moon banner, and so on, even one hundred and one samadhis. One also knows and understands the thoughts, latent tendencies, and the continuum of existence of beings. So, what is the characteristic of the Sambhogakaya? "The body endowed with samadhi is the best of bodies, the complete enjoyment body is the king of all bodies." Thus it is said, the body endowed with samadhi is the Dharmakaya, which is the basis, the support of these two bodies, and is the most excellent. From this, enjoying the Dharma of the Great Vehicle, the body appears as Vairochana, which is endowed with five certainties and abides like a Chakravartin king. That is, "Because of closely enjoying the great sphere, the Victorious One's enjoyment is called the Sambhogakaya." Thus it is said. He also benefits the Bodhisattvas of the ten bhumis through the complete purity of the activities of his body.

He turned the wheel of Dharma to those who became the main figures. So, what is the activity of the emanation body? The emanation body, the supreme of bodies, holds the lineage of the Buddha's emanation, scatters various emanations in the ten directions, and truly does the benefit of beings. It is said in the Sutra. That is to say, the Victorious One's emanation body turns the wheel of Dharma to the sentient beings of the six realms, the Hearers, and the Solitary Realizers, through the pure activity of speech. The most supreme of the impure emanation bodies is that which manifests the form of the Buddha, and emanates into the lineage of one thousand and two Buddhas, such as the Crown-bearer. Where does he emanate? He emanates in the ten directions. What does he do after emanating? He does the benefit of beings as is appropriate. So, what is the impure emanation body? The Lord of the Gods, the God of the Gods, the Master of the Gods, the Master of the Asuras, the Immortal Lord, the Teacher of the Gods, the Destroyer, the Destroyer, the Almighty. It is said in the Sutra. The Lord of the Gods, that is, to subdue Vishnu, he emanates as Vishnu. The God of the Gods is Brahma. The Master of the Gods is Indra. The Master of the Asuras is Taksabhadra. The Immortal Lord is the king of the gods such as the Imperturbable. The Teacher of the Gods is the king of the gods such as Paranirmita-vasavartin. The Destroyer is the Wrathful Vajrakila. The Destroyer Almighty is Mahesvara. To subdue them, he emanates as them and does the work. The way of giving Dharma is: surpassing the solitary place of existence, the only teacher is the guide of beings, widely known in the ten directions of the world, is the great lord of Dharma giving, adorned with the armor of loving-kindness, with compassion as a shield, holding the sword of wisdom, bow and arrow, eliminating the battlefield of ignorance of afflictions, is the hero who subdues the demonic enemies, able to eliminate the fear of the four maras, able to defeat the armies of the maras. It is said in the Sutra. Existence is the inevitable place of origin, the solitary place is the place away from it. Liberated from existence, realizing the non-duality of the two truths, therefore he is the only teacher. Or, two teachers do not arise for one teaching. Because he has become the teacher of all beings, therefore he is the guru. Therefore, he is widely known in the ten directions of the world, because
