Emptiness, wishlessness liberation, and skillful means liberation. That is to say, emptiness liberates from things. Signlessness liberates even from attachment to subtle signs. Wishlessness liberates from focusing on the edge of desiring results. Skillful means liberates from those who are inferior and unskillful. Similarly, from the aspect of the merit of cutting off some elaborations, it is explained as four, but in reality, it is the great bindu without letters. Also, in the wheel of great bliss at the crown, the bodhicitta bindu abides in sixteen parts, relying on the differences in the methods of mudras there, melting the sixteen bindus of the wheel of great bliss at the crown, half (eight parts) descending to the dharma wheel in the heart, melting half descending to the emanation wheel at the navel, therefore descending to the secret pleasure-guarding wheel, actually enjoying when the two pairs are combined. By repeatedly familiarizing oneself with that, one will eventually be able to get rid of even a little attachment to it, and will realize the great bindu without letters. That is to say, it is said like this: The four profound liberations are said for the benefit of the sharp-witted. Those who turn like a wheel should be known to be said for the benefit of the dull-witted. By practicing in this way, there will be no branch of conceptual thought, transcending the calculations of speech. Excellent samadhi is like the samadhi of the four dhyanas. One also knows those and the branches of other samadhi dhyanas, that is to say, one also knows the dhyana in the desire realm where insight is stronger, one also knows the dhyana in the formless realm where quiescence is stronger, and one also knows the dhyana in the form realm where quiescence and insight are combined, therefore the four dhyanas have eighteen branches, the first dhyana has five branches, namely: investigation, analysis, joy, happiness, and one-pointedness of mind. The second dhyana also has four branches, namely: joy, happiness, inner serenity, and one-pointedness of mind. The third dhyana also has five branches, namely: equanimity, mindfulness, awareness, happiness, and one-pointedness of mind.

It is just like that. The fourth dhyana also has four branches, namely, purity of equanimity, purity of mindfulness, purity of feeling that is neither pleasure nor pain, and one-pointedness of mind. These are all known by the venerable one. In addition, there are samadhis such as the Heroic Conduct Samadhi, the Precious Seal Samadhi, the Lion's Vigorous Samadhi, and the samadhi called Moon Banner Auspicious, etc. He also knows all one hundred and one samadhis, and also knows the thoughts, habits, and all that is encompassed by the continuum of the place of birth of beings. So, what is the characteristic of the Sambhogakaya? It is said, "The body of samadhi is the best of bodies, the complete enjoyment body, the king of all." The body of samadhi is the Dharmakaya, which is the basis, the support of those two bodies, and is the most excellent. From that, the body that enjoys the Dharma of the Mahayana appears as Vairochana, which also possesses the five certainties and abides like a Chakravartin king. That is also as it is said, "In order to closely enjoy the great light, it is said that the Able One is the complete enjoyment body." That also, through the way in which the actions of the body are completely pure, turns the wheel of Dharma for those who are the leaders of the ten bhumi bodhisattvas. So, what is the activity of the Nirmanakaya? It is said, "The Nirmanakaya is the best of bodies, holding the continuum of the Buddha's Nirmanakaya, scattering various emanations in the ten directions, thus accomplishing the benefit of beings." That is, the Victorious One, the Nirmanakaya, turns the wheel of Dharma for the beings of the six realms of samsara, as well as the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, in a way that the actions of speech are completely pure. The most excellent of the impure Nirmanakayas is seeing the Buddhas, the continuum of the emanations of the one thousand and two Buddhas such as Ushnishachakra. After emanating, where are they scattered? They are scattered in the ten directions. After scattering, what do they do? They accomplish the benefit of beings as is appropriate. So, what is the impure Nirmanakaya? It is the lord of the gods, the god of gods, the master of the gods, the master of the asuras, the immortal lord, the wise one of the gods, the destroyer.
