Homage! Because the secret name is Vajrapani, therefore, it is the king of wrathful ones. Together with five hundred retinues endowed with various qualities, I rejoice. With what words do I rejoice? From the Secret Praise, I offer these words: Protector, we rejoice! Excellent! Excellent! Well spoken! Thus it is said. The Secret Praise is fearlessly praising the pinnacle. We and our retinue rejoice, the profound self-benefit is well done! The vast benefit to others is well done! Because it is said that the profound and the vast are inseparable, therefore it is well spoken. For what purpose do we rejoice? For those who seek the fruit of liberation, the unprotected beings, and for us to achieve the great purpose of perfect enlightenment. Thus it is said. Because it is for the unprotected beings who desire the fruit of liberation from the bonds of afflictions, and for us to accomplish the great purpose of attaining perfect enlightenment. What Dharma do we rejoice in? The way of the magical net is shown, this is the pure and virtuous path, deep and vast and extensive, accomplishing the great benefit of beings. Thus it is said. Because this Dharma of the magical net is shown, this is an extremely virtuous path, deep and wide and extensive, accomplishing the benefit of beings. Why do we rejoice afterwards because there is a reason to believe? This realm of the Buddhas is spoken by the perfect Buddhas. Thus it is said. Because this Dharma, the realm of activity of the Buddhas, is not spoken by ordinary people, but by the perfect Buddhas. There is no falsehood or error, therefore, because it is believable, it is said to rejoice afterwards. It is also said: Scripture is a word of faith, a word of falsehood that has exhausted faults, it is not spoken without cause, know that the exhaustion of faults is scripture. Thus it is said. The nature of all Buddhas is the name Manjushri, deep and vast and extremely difficult to measure, yet, relying on the tantras and instructions that have been spoken, because the disciples requested, I have composed this. I confess my mistakes to the noble and wise ones. By the power of the virtuous roots of this composition, may all beings attain the state of Manjushri! Not relying on Sanskrit, for the sake of easy understanding for Tibetans, self-
