The phrases "Vajra Sun, great is the light; Vajra Moon, stainless light" are the methods of recitation, explaining the essence of skillful means and wisdom. There are two methods of recitation: one is reciting in the manner of the mandala wheel, and the other is reciting in the manner of a single deity. Reciting in the manner of the mandala means generating it as the mandala of the Wisdom Being arises, generating the nature of skillful means as a lunar mandala in the upper palate, generating the nature of wisdom as a solar mandala in the lower palate, and the tongue as the uncontaminated.
