The ground should be well explained. In all the Buddhafields of the four directions, Buddhas together with their sons and retinues, should be visualized. In the center of the Buddhafield, Akshobhya Vajra should be visualized. The first Buddha, Manjushri, should be visualized in his heart. Oneself should also visualize Manjushri as the Wisdom Being in his heart. His body is the color of precious lapis lazuli, and he holds the sword of wisdom as a weapon. Also in the heart of the Wisdom Being, the Wheel of Command should be visualized. The wheel in the shape of a sword blade has thirty-two points, adorned with the root mantra. Having meditated steadily in this way, rays of light from the letters emanate, spreading in all ten directions, pervading all the Buddhafields. In order to activate the Wheel of Command, these words should be well recited. By uniting myself with body, speech, and mind, may all the Buddhas hear me. I am the wisdom body of all the Buddhas who abide in the three times. Again, the Buddhas abide in my heart. In the world of the eastern direction, in immeasurable Buddhafields, the body in which all the Buddhas are assembled is Vairochana, the Great Vajra Realm. In his retinue are hundreds of thousands of Bodhisattvas. Running before them are five hundred Vajra Holders. May the Buddhas together with their retinues hear me. His attendants are gods, sages, Yama, rakshasas, nagas, and vidyadharas, yakshas, bhutas, and so on, all beings dwelling on earth and in the sky, may all beings listen to me. I am the glorious sword-holder, wielding the Wheel of Command, this wheel of the oath-bound sword. Whoever does not act according to the command, and does not abide by the oath, even if they are Buddhas born from body and speech, will undoubtedly be destroyed. And those who possess... (They) are extremely wrathful and unkind, with loud voices and a destructive aura, spinning unbearably in the sky above each of them. The sky is also covered with clouds, and the earth is shaking everywhere. Even the Buddha-fields are shaking, emitting sounds and words. I am the wheel of oath, together with the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Vajradhara, for the world including the gods, I am the wheel of oath. Therefore, all sons of the Buddhas, please descend by the power of the oath! As commanded by the peaceful Vajra, please accomplish the deeds of the Buddha! All sentient beings of the world who possess oaths, please descend by the power of the oath! As the oath of Manjushri Kumara, please accomplish the deeds of the Buddha! All beings who do not abide by the oath, please listen to me! The oath of Manjushri Kumara, if you do not act according to the teachings of the Sugata, if you do not uphold the oath well, I am the wheel of oath, an extremely unbearable thunderbolt, now descending immediately! Destroying you into ashes, making you irreparable! After thus commanding with the wheel of oath, the victors of the immeasurable eastern world and their retinues, and the world including the gods, all those who have and do not have oaths, gathered together, all the sons of the Buddhas, body, speech, and mind Vajra abide here. Then, Yama King Wrathful One, manifested as the peaceful Wrathful One, extremely unbearable, becoming the Lord of Death, Yama. The sentient beings of the world who possess oaths, prostrating with folded hands, said: We who possess oaths, are gathered here because of the oath, please tell us what is commanded? Those beings who do not have oaths, also with folded hands, said: Please command, Yama King Wrathful One, we vow to uphold the oath. From now on, may we abide by your command of great power. After hearing these words, the yogi of Yama King Wrathful One, to all the victors and their retinues, prays for what is desired, and to the Vajra messengers, etc., assigns the desired tasks.
