Having obtained the vows with the mind at the appropriate time, knowing that the three times abide, the substance of the vows abides, like a painting on a wall. Whatever support's power diminishes, the supported will also be destroyed. Moreover, by the power of a virtuous friend, after generating the mind of the Two Vehicles, the very nature of that vow transforms into the Great Vehicle, just as the power of alchemical medicine transforms iron into gold. Also, sometimes it becomes empty due to boasting, because the words of the Tathagata are not false, and because it was initially obtained with the thought of that time, just as when a person bathes, all the impurities of the body are purified, appearing like moonlight. Therefore, individual liberation and the mind of enlightenment are the vows of the vidyadhara himself. Having abided in the three vows, one should practice the king of secret mantras. Thus it is said, all those who possess these vows should be protected. If it is said that because the characteristics do not match, they cannot be classified as one kind, like a horse and an ox, it is not so, because all vows are explanations of the differences in wisdom, and that very difference is conceptual thought, that is, when one finds peace in non-conceptual samadhi, conceptual thought is pacified without support, and the Tathagata himself is there, where all is one knowledge. If it is said to be not one, then those who attained Buddhahood in the past would also be unreasonable. Therefore, in the renunciation of the three vehicles, one abides in the fruit of one vehicle. Because it is said, the gate of renunciation is not obstructed by the truth of the difference in thought, and because purity is one's own nature, it is reasonable. If it is unreasonable, then for the sake of pleasing sentient beings who possess afflictions, the Buddha, the Bhagavan, said: By whatever fierce karma beings are bound, if one possesses the means, then by that very means, one is liberated from the bonds of existence. It is also unreasonable to say so. Therefore, all that is untrue is transformed into the one taste of truth merely by dispelling illusion. Likewise, one should not be angry with one's siblings, nor should one proclaim their faults. As it is said, because it is classified as the same kind in vows, it is so. Because they are one from birth, they are siblings. Moreover, all those who abide in the multitude of supreme wisdom are siblings.

There are special Vajra brothers, individual brothers, and close brothers. Among them, those who receive vows from the same mandala, teacher, and lineage are special Vajra brothers. Those who receive them individually are individual Vajra brothers. All who have entered the Mahayana are close brothers. For both of these, transgressions can be imposed, but for others, harmony should be maintained. Wrath is self-conflict. Proclaiming faults, such as revealing secrets, should not be done. Bodhicitta should also not be abandoned. Among these, Bodhicitta has been explained before. "Also" means to prostrate. Not to be abandoned means not to violate the initial vow. One should not slander one's own or others' Dharma. Among these, "self" refers to the Buddha. "Other" refers to non-Buddhists. "Dharma" refers to what is seen as the path to enlightenment. What should be slandered also changes according to the order of the vehicle, and the faults also change accordingly. If one slanders non-Buddhists, it is a cause for being far from Vairochana. As it is said, "Non-Buddhists and those who seek the path, therefore one should not slander them." Since this is the case, what need is there to mention slandering others? Slander is caused by arrogance, and jealousy of others' virtues also has its root in arrogance. Thinking oneself to be supreme strengthens the power of all habits, and belittling others will steal their minds. A Bodhisattva will not be for others, nor will they be too much for themselves. For sentient beings, there should be love. One should never abandon it. This means that Mahayana practitioners should regard all sentient beings as if they were their only child, and should never abandon them. The Mahayana that is separated from the field of sentient beings is just an empty name. It is like a firefly possessing the light of the sun, it is just a name. If it is said that there is no difference from the previous Bodhicitta, then Bodhicitta is the basis, and this is the preliminary to all actions. Secret things should not be shown to sentient beings who are not yet mature. This means that there are five kinds of immature sentient beings: those whose vessels are immature are those with wrong views. Those whose gatherings are immature are those who have not received the vase empowerment. Those whose rituals are incomplete are secrets and wisdom.
