Completely abandoning the hope of claiming the pure dedication as one's own. Moreover, the Great Vehicle of the Bodhisattva is the Great Vehicle of Secret Mantra, matured by empowerment, and with the difference of its two stages of wisdom, as the root of perfectly accomplishing the benefit of oneself and others, guarding, practicing, knowing, and conducting the vows, and proceeding with the signs of Samadhi, and taking the result as the path. Moreover, in the time of the two Lesser Vehicles, since the vows are obtained by the mind, because consciousness exists following the three times, the substance of the vows remains, just like drawing a picture on a wall, once the power of the support weakens, what is relied upon will be destroyed. Moreover, through the power of the virtuous friend, after generating Bodhicitta in the Second Vehicle, the very nature of that vow transforms into the Great Vehicle, for example, just as iron transforms into gold through the power of alchemical medicine. Moreover, promising with time is empty, because the words of the Tathagata do not deceive, and because it was initially obtained with the intention of that time, for example, when a person takes a bath, all the impurities of the body are cleansed, just like appearing with the luster of the moon. Therefore, Individual Liberation and Bodhicitta, are the vows of the Vidyadhara himself. Having abided in the three vows, one should practice the King of Secret Mantras. Thus it is said, because all who possess this vow are guarded. If it is said that because the characteristics are not the same, they cannot be classified into one category, just like horses and cows, that is not correct, because all the vows are explanations of the difference of consciousness, and once that very difference, namely conceptual thought, that is, the peaceful Samadhi without conceptual thought, is attained, conceptual thought ceases because it has no support, the Tathagata

Whatever one is bound by, with the means, one is liberated by that very thing. It is reasonable that it was said. Therefore, all untruth becomes of one taste with truth merely by the disappearance of error. Likewise, one should not be angry with one's brother, nor should one proclaim faults. It is so because similar things are gathered together in the samaya. Because of being born as one, they are brothers. That is, those who abide in the multitude of supreme wisdom are brothers, namely, the special vajra brother, the separate brother, and the near brother. Among them, obtaining the samaya from the same mandala, teacher, and reasoning is the special vajra brother. Obtaining separately is the separate vajra brother. All who have entered the Mahayana are near brothers. For both of these, transgressions are to be imposed, but for others, it is a similarity. Wrath is self-disturbance. Proclaiming faults is not to expose shortcomings, etc. Bodhicitta should not be abandoned either. Regarding this, bodhicitta has already been explained before. 'Also' means to respect. 'Should not be abandoned' means not to violate the initial vow. One should not disparage the Dharma of oneself or others. Regarding this, 'oneself' refers to the Buddha, and 'others' refers to non-Buddhists. 'Dharma' refers to seeing the path of manifest attainment. What should be disparaged also changes according to the order of the vehicle, and faults also change accordingly. If one disparages non-Buddhists, it becomes a cause for being distant from Vairochana. And it has been said, "One should not disparage outsiders and those who seek the path; therefore, one should not disparage them." Since that is the case, what need is there to even look at others? Disparagement is aroused by pride, and jealousy of the virtues of others is also rooted in pride itself. Because one sees oneself as supreme, one strengthens the power of all habitual tendencies, and by despising others, one steals the minds of others. A Bodhisattva does not change for the sake of others, nor does he change excessively for his own sake. One should have love for sentient beings and should never abandon it. This means that Mahayana practitioners should regard all sentient beings as their only child and should never abandon them at any time. The Mahayana that is separated from the realm of sentient beings is merely a name. Like a firefly possessing the light of the sun, it is merely a name.
