The wise recite during the three times, and also bathe during the three times, so it is said. Those who know the recitation rituals should uphold the prohibitions and diligently guard their vows. They should be diligent in recitation and practice, and should always draw mandalas. They should also always read scriptures. The wise should always build stupas and always practice virtuous deeds. They should take refuge during the three times and confess their sins during the three times. Practitioners, those with wisdom, should generate Bodhicitta during the three times and also make aspirations during the three times. Those who know the rituals seen in the tantras, should practice those rituals as they wish and to the best of their ability. They should always be generous and diligent, possess compassion and be free from stinginess, always be patient and possess loving-kindness, and always possess diligence. The six recollections, etc., should be constantly cultivated with that thought. After hearing various teachings, one should practice various kinds of faith and understanding. One should read the secret mantra rituals and also offer mantras and mudras. As it appears in the rituals, the wise should draw mandalas. After the Bodhicitta is firm, those who are certain about the true deities, after binding the vow mudras, the wise should gather the fourfold retinue of monks, etc. One should also explain the tantras oneself. The wise should fully understand all the secret mantra texts. On the eighth, fourteenth, and fifteenth days, practitioners, during the half-month of the miracle month, should make special offerings. Recitation, fire offerings, offerings, and upholding prohibitions, etc., should be especially respectful and manifestly diligent in merit, so it is said. Also, during recitation, fire offerings, and offerings, one should always have an upper garment covering. There is no fault in sleeping and bathing, and that is also manifestly praised. One should always wear wooden sandals in external places. One should abandon the places of deities, gurus, and objects of offering. With the actions of body, speech, and mind, one should always make offerings to the objects of offering. Whoever is always diligent, desiring accomplishment through recitation, should prostrate upon seeing a stupa, and should also prostrate upon seeing a monk. One should serve the deities upon seeing them, and should make offerings upon seeing the guru. The profound Dharma is explained.
