Also, during recitation and fire offerings, one should always wear an upper garment. There is no fault in sleeping and bathing, and that is also worthy of praise. In outdoor places, one should always wear wooden shoes. In places of images of deities, gurus, and offerings, one should avoid wearing shoes. With body, speech, and mind, one should always make offerings to the places of offering. Those who are constantly diligent, for the sake of recitation and accomplishment, if they see a stupa, they should prostrate, and if they see a monk, they should also prostrate. If they see deities, they should be respectful, and if they see a guru, they should make offerings. Upon hearing the profound Dharma being taught, one should generate faith. Towards the supreme among the Bodhisattvas, one should be extremely joyful. Upon hearing the various activities of mantras, the mind should be delighted. A practitioner, desiring accomplishment, should cultivate diligence with wisdom. Regarding "this should be done, this should not be done," it has already been said in the discipline of Vidyā-mantra. Regarding the precepts of the training, one should always contemplate through recitation. Attachment to one's own happiness should be avoided day and night. After doing these, one should do this, and one should become unscattered. The faults committed inadvertently during the day should be confessed separately in the evening. One should also be very happy about what has been done well. What was done at night should also be confessed in the morning. Recitation, fire offerings, cleanliness, and the offerings and precepts of Vidyā-mantra, for the discipline of Vidyā-mantra, the practitioner should diligently abide. Also, from today onwards, you should generate great faith in the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, as well as the Bodhisattvas, and the assemblies of Vidyā-mantras and secret mantras. One should always have special devotion to the Mahāyāna. One should be friendly with those who keep their vows, and one should also respect the guru. Do not hate all the deities, and one should also make offerings at appropriate times. Do not criticize the teachings of other teachers, and do not host unexpected guests. Towards sentient beings, one should firmly establish a mind of loving-kindness. For those who delight in this Mahāyāna, one should diligently accumulate merit.

The vows should be well guarded. I will also realize that. Thus one should learn to act. Those vows are collected by me from the action tantras, but even the great yogis, According to the power of place and time, and according to their intention, they should be properly guarded. Those who say they are great yogis, who want to be free from the bonds of cleanliness and impurity, become violent. Because of the power of intention and so on, even in the action tantras, cleanliness is allowed to be unclean, food is allowed to be uneaten, bathing is allowed to be unbathed, and the self-nature of myself is accomplished by remembrance. Thus it is said that there is indulgence, but mostly the yogis of great yoga should not transgress the vows that have been spoken. Furthermore, for those yogis who mainly practice yoga, food and so on that make the body comfortable, the noble hearers who desire little and are content, who know the rituals, who desire liberation by diligently cultivating merits, and who have vowed to live in four solitary places, are also allowed, as it is said. At that time, the Blessed One said to the venerable Ajnata Kaundinya: You should live in the borderlands, and the monks who meditate on samadhi should live in excellent dwellings and enjoy excellent paths and excellent food. All the activities of the Sangha are not to be done, and that is also allowed. Why is that? If those who practice samadhi are harassed by the necessities of life, then evil thoughts and mental phenomena will arise, and all samadhi will not be accomplished. They will fall into the hell of uninterrupted sentient beings and will experience immeasurable and unbearable great suffering. If those who practice samadhi have the necessities of life, then many unaccomplished samadhis will be accomplished, and those that have already been accomplished will not be lost. Because of this, all non-virtuous dharmas will not arise, and thus it is said extensively that even non-virtuous thoughts and investigations will not arise, and from the birth of gods in the higher realms to the attainment of nirvana, they will be able to obtain it. Thus it is said, but what kind of teachings of the Blessed One are in the collection of sutra jewels?
