How could they hold them? How could they hear them? How could they fully understand them? I beseech you, Blessed One, why have beings become short-lived? Vajradhara spoke, "Those who become preceptors will at that time be endowed with root downfalls, and those disciples who enter will enter the path of the ten non-virtuous actions, and those ordinary beings will also become life-cutters. How could they hold them? Likewise, those assemblies of women will be singularly and completely attached to desire. Therefore, all the tantras have not been extensively taught. Therefore, thinking that since they have not tasted the nectar of meditation, they should not die clinging only to the wisdom of hearing and thinking, he specially blessed that the extensive texts should not appear. Some say that the extensive texts are respectfully held by the dakinis in the abode of the vidyadharas. But I have not seen such a statement. If there were such extensive texts, we would not know anything about them, so who would believe it? If you ask what is the proof of its existence here? Here, believing in the guru's instructions as taught is the way to easily obtain the meaning, as it is said: 'Whatever bodhisattva acts in accordance with what is taught, abides in mindfulness, and does not break the guru's word, therefore, all his meanings will be accomplished as desired, and the desired Buddha's wisdom and enlightenment will also increase.' So it is said. The extensive can be combined with the story of the Brahmin's birth of superior heat. Thus, the proof of accomplishment is also that, just as the noble Norzang entered the fire and easily accomplished the meaning. Therefore, what is the use of conceptual thoughts such as direct perception? In the heroic Chakrasamvara it is also said: 'All mantras are common to all, do not destroy them with reason, not with eyes and hands, but only with faith.' Thus.

O monks and wise ones, just as gold is tested by burning, cutting, and rubbing, so should you thoroughly examine my words and then accept them, not out of respect for me. How should this statement be understood? It is to prevent those who have not encountered a true spiritual friend from clinging to the teachings of worldly heretics, etc., as true. Therefore, this is also logical. If one has not encountered a true spiritual friend, how can what he says be a valid measure? Therefore, this does not harm (the Buddha's teachings). The term "Bhagavan" refers to the supreme being of the Shakya clan. "When attaining complete enlightenment" means when generating a vajra-like samadhi. Therefore, interpret "attaining complete enlightenment" as "when aspiring to attain perfect enlightenment." Mara is the evil god of desire, and his army is the assembly of troops, the four divisions: cavalry, infantry, charioteers, and elephant riders. "Extremely terrifying" means that without seeing the truth, my heart might break. As it is said in the Holy Great Play Sutra: If the Bhagavan had not blessed them, the army of Mara would have caused the hearts of the Jambudvipa people to break. The deployment of Mara's army is also described in greater detail there. "To cause fear" means that the Bhagavan dwells nearby, causing fear. "Gathered together" means that in this Jambudvipa, hundreds of millions of Mara's armies from the three thousand great thousand worlds have all gathered for war, as stated in the Holy Great Play Sutra, so numerous. "With perverse power" means boasting with perverse pride in childish acts such as throwing mountains. The Bhagavan is as before. Because he can overcome the great army of Mara, he is the Great Hero. His Bodhi frightens each individual's mind, meaning that by harming the Buddha's body, they become obstacles. "At that time" means at the time when this happens. "Great Mara" refers to the extremely vast army of the son of the gods, Mara. "Victorious over that" means having become the cause of victory. "Thus it is said" means that samadhi is an illusion-like samadhi. As it is said: Sons of the Shakya, all dharmas arise dependently.

When arising, realize the nature of non-substantiality, like the sky, with a mind that is extremely powerful, even when seeing illusions accompanied by deceit, there is no fear. Thus it is said. Entering that samadhi means manifesting, that is, the meaning of arising from the tantra. The body, speech, and mind of the Bhagavan Shakyamuni Buddha are of one nature, indivisible, therefore like a vajra. Although it is said to be one, in order to conform to the habits of children, it is called "all" in the plural. And among them, like the light emanating from the body, the great wrathful Yamantaka will surely appear. Some say that the reason for calling the body, speech, and mind "all" in the plural here is that the body produces the body of the wrathful deity, the speech utters extremely fierce roars, and the mind is far from substantiality and without discrimination. Therefore, the plural term is actually what is desired. Others say that the saying of body, speech, and mind vajra means that vajra is the meaning of union, so in reality, it is the attainment of manifest enlightenment. In order to subdue the trainable, it shows the subduing of the armies of demons, and the great wrathful deity is also transformed from union, so the plural term does not match the meaning. The name Wrathful One is because he plays in an illusory manner and has the merit of subduing the trainable, so the one who has the merit of playing is the Wrathful One. That尊 is more victorious than all the wrathful ones in subduing, so it is called great, or it refers to the hugeness of the body. The name Yamantaka, the word Yama is the enemy of Yama, is the one who desperately destroys Yama. Since this is the case, what exactly is the name Yama? Yama, like a god born with sentient beings, constantly follows and diligently kills, is Yama, also known as the Lord of Death. If so: "This is today's business, this is tomorrow's business, this is the day after tomorrow's business." When people think like this, Yama holds a stick in his hand, looks sideways, his eyes are red, he is furious, and he secretly thinks with an unhappy smile.
