O yogis of valor and the like! The Tathagata's dancer is indeed his daughter. By meditating on them and the nature of the Perfection of Wisdom, true union is to be rejoiced. It is precisely because of this: If one rejoices through desire, by the supreme Dharma-nature of the Great Vehicle, one will obtain great accomplishment through it. It is taught for the purpose of entering, and precisely because of this: To the principal Buddhas and the assembly of mothers, with a non-discriminating mind, even if one rejoices, one is not attached. Thus it is said, namely: Because of meditating as if it were an illusion, even if one has rejoiced, one will still become non-discriminating in the manner previously stated. Then, for the sake of the yogi becoming enlightened: With a non-discriminating mind, thereafter one will accomplish Buddhahood. Thus it is said. That which is called wondrous means that even sentient beings who engage in desire will become enlightened by meditating on true union. That which is called marvelous means that it has not occurred before from others. The word "why" is a term of extreme reproach. Here, within the assembly of all the Tathagatas, such evil words are spoken, meaning that in the realm of the principal Buddhas, the Bhagavat, accomplishment will be attained by engaging in desire. When these words are spoken, the meaning is "do not speak these words." In this regard, great Bodhisattvas, knowing all thoughts and predispositions, it is impossible that they would completely reproach. Why did they say this? Although it is true, nevertheless, knowing the thoughts of those whose roots of virtue have not fully ripened, who give rise to a completely reproachful mind, and who are unable to endure, they spoke in this way. All the Tathagatas spoke thus to those Bodhisattvas: "Sons of good family, abandon it, do not speak thus." The word "abandon" means unreasonable. "Do not speak thus" establishes negation. Why is this the lord of all the Tathagatas? By meditating on the eyes and so forth and union, one will attain enlightenment; this is the way of reason. What

If asked, why is this the right reason? The sutra says, "Those with the essence of wisdom, the Dharma-nature of all Buddhas." It means that cultivating the Prajnaparamita by associating with Buddhalocana and other emptiness mothers is the cause of attaining Buddhahood through the cause of Dharma-nature. Because they are those who possess wisdom that is identical to the essence of non-duality, they are those who possess the essence of wisdom. The "this" mentioned in the sutra means to place it in the heart. If asked, why is that the Dharma-nature of all Buddhas? The sutra says, "Essence arises from the meaning of Dharma." It means that since it is both essence and Dharma, essence is Dharma, which is the Dharma-realm without beginning or end. Since that is the meaning of transcendent wisdom, it is the meaning of Dharma. To arise from that is to be born. It means that attaining Buddhahood by associating with Buddhalocana and others is to reveal the Dharma-realm. Then, cultivating it like a dream or illusion is to abandon attachment to reality and be able to attain Buddhahood. Therefore, the sutra says, "This is the place of Bodhi conduct." It means that this cultivation is the conduct of Bodhi, and since that becomes the basis, it is called a place. Bodhisattvas are afraid because they hear this teaching that Dharma and the individual have no self-nature, and therefore they are afraid and faint. If asked, why is that so? The sutra says, "Those who have entered the great earth will be afraid." Because the mind of fear arises in those who are attached to Dharma and the individual, it is impossible for those who have entered the great earth to be afraid. If asked, here, since ordinary beings are Bodhisattvas, there is no fault. Bhagavan! Please awaken these great Bodhisattva Mahasattvas. It means that by the power of Samadhi, the wisdom of realizing the selflessness of Dharma arises, and fear is eliminated, so please awaken them. Thus, in order for all the Tathagatas to hear the request and awaken them, they entered the Samadhi called equal to space, non-dual Vajra. Equal like space, therefore it is called equal to space. All Dharmas are the nature of non-reality, and equal to space is non-dual.
