Holding an iron hook and a lasso in his hands, one hand's fingers threaten others. Hayagriva is red in color, blazing with many masses of light, and has a garland of light radiating ferociousness. His face changes in various ways, with three eyes, adorned with emanations. The Lord of Assemblies dwells in a manner that subdues all ferocity by pressing down with his left foot. In his right hands, he holds a lotus, a vajra, and an arrow. In his two left hands, he holds an iron hook and a lasso, and one hand's fingers threaten others. A horse's head is placed on his crown. The fourth, Amrita Kundali, is black in color, blazing with many masses of light, vajra clouds churning violently, extremely wrathful, and ferociously gnashing sharp teeth. In his right hands, he holds a vajra, a sword, and a stake. In his left hands, he holds an iron hook, a battle-axe, and a lasso. The posture of all these wrathful deities here is to sit with the left leg extended. The remaining ones will be explained from below this. Because it averts all obstacles, it generates joy, therefore it is pleasing, it is the mandala of its meaning. Because it is not to be transgressed, they are the Samaya-sattvas. In these tantras, whatever particular negation is not mentioned, one should generate the samadhi of one's own deity in the three-faced, six-armed form. Generating the mandala of mind is blessing the mandala of samadhi. The collection of sounds that reveals it is expressed as the sound called "Chapter." Explanation of the first chapter. Second Chapter. Explanation of the Mind of Enlightenment. Those who wish to practice yoga should aspire to great enlightenment and understand the meaning of great enlightenment through the mind of hearing and thinking. Therefore, the chapter on the mind of enlightenment is taught, beginning with "Then." The sound "Then" means immediately after, and should be connected to "Having prostrated to the Bhagavan, thus he requested." That is, offering with forms and sounds, etc., should be connected to "Please explain," requesting the explanation of the mind of enlightenment. Showing its distinction is "Essence," etc., that is, the primordial and

Because it has become the nature of non-existence, it is called essence. This shows the self-nature of the Dharmakaya. The best of body, speech, and mind, this refers to the fact that because it can bring cause and effect closer, it is said in the mundane world to become the nature of means. In this way, this refers to the mind of enlightenment that has become the nature of wisdom and means. Then, it should be added that the Blessed One said this to those Bodhisattvas. The complete discernment of the minds of all Bodhisattvas is also understood by the mind, which means that if the Blessed One were to generate the great Bodhicitta in order to perfect our bodies, speech, and minds, it would be excellent, because there is such a complete discernment of the mind, so it is understood. Your mind is like a body, which means that the bodies of all Tathagatas are like dreams, because in the ultimate truth there is no nature of reality. The body is like the mind, which means that this nature of the mind vajra is also like an illusion, because it is the nature of emptiness. Generate the mind like expressing it in words, which means that this nature of the speech vajra is like an echo, because there is no cause of birth. That is also from what is said below: The vajra of the body perfects enlightenment, distinguishing between real and unreal. And others, the vow of speech perfects enlightenment, distinguishing between sound and non-sound. And, the vow of mind perfects enlightenment, distinguishing the vajra of abiding. This is what is said. This meaning is to compare the body, speech, and mind of all Tathagatas to the sky, which is to say, to make the nature of emptiness. Alas, etc., the sound of alas is transformed into wonder. Samantabhadra, refers to the fact that although it shows acting in desire etc., it is not contaminated by the faults of desire etc., so it is Samantabhadra, like that Samantabhadra, the body, speech, and mind of the Great Vairocana are not born in the ultimate truth, but are only confused like a dream.
