The realm of eye consciousness, the realm of ear consciousness, the realm of nose consciousness, the realm of tongue consciousness, the realm of body consciousness, and the realm of mind consciousness. "Entering also" refers to the question of how these realms of phenomena pervade and enter into various forms. "Also" is a repetition of the question. Asking from the perspective of afflictions: "Ignorance, habitual tendencies, craving, etc., are the afflictions of bondage, such as desire." That is to say, ignorance refers to the afflictions of the previous life, such as desire, because it is the obscuration that prevents seeing the true meaning. Habitual tendencies refer to actions, that is, the latent good and bad deeds of the previous life, which therefore imprint on the consciousness of this life. Existence refers to attachment to craving, which is the creation of the next life. Therefore, it is said that bondage, that is, the ignorance and actions of the previous life, do not allow liberation in this life, and the craving of this life does not allow liberation from existence in the next life. What affliction is the bound object? Indicating that object, it says, "Afflictions, desire, etc." Among them, affliction refers to sentient beings from the Avici hell to the peak of existence, whose minds are the seeds of suffering. As stated in the Abhidharmakosha: "Here, it is the seed of affliction, like a dragon, like grass, like a tree, likewise, it is regarded as bark." Affliction is also desire, therefore it is said, "Afflictions, desire, etc." Among them, desire refers to the nature of attachment, namely desire for desire and desire for existence. The word "etc." includes hatred and ignorance, where hatred refers to the thought of harming others, and ignorance is the inability to distinguish between good and non-good. These are the three bondages, because they are the nature of the three feelings. For example, desire is the nature of pleasant feeling, hatred is the nature of painful feeling, and ignorance is the nature of feeling that is neither pleasant nor painful. As also stated in the Abhidharmakosha

There are three bonds due to the power of feeling, so it is said. Bound by afflictions, the question about the meaning of consciousness and becoming the three realms and aggregation: How are the various consciousnesses truly assembled? So it is said. Among them, consciousness refers to only consciousness. It is also said in the Treatise on the Twenty Aspects of Consciousness: Mind, intellect, and consciousness, as well as discernment, are different names. So it is said. Various refers to consciousness becoming the vessel and essence of the three realms. How are they truly assembled? It refers to how the three realms also assemble into only consciousness during the eon of destruction. This is the summary of the question. Asking about the meaning of meditation: Meditating on the form of non-things. So it is said, among them, what immediately produces this meaning is called things. Moreover, if examined from the ultimate point of view, what is unreasonable is called non-things, because it is the imputation of grasping and being grasped. And, because existence and non-existence do not arise. Thus, on things and non-things, especially meditating on the form of Buddha images, hand gestures, etc., is thinking. Also, Above, continuing to ask about the sense bases such as form: The characteristics of the objects of sense such as form. So it is said, among them, form, etc., refers to the six sense bases from the form sense base to the dharma sense base. Among them, form has twenty types: blue, yellow, red, white, long, short, square, round, high, low, flat, uneven, cloud, smoke, dust, fog, shadow, sun, light, darkness. The sound sense base has eight types: the continuation of the four great elements with grasping, the continuation of the four great elements without grasping, and two sets of four that show sentient and non-sentient beings, namely pleasant and unpleasant, totaling eight. The smell sense base has four types: fragrant, foul, equal, unequal. The taste sense base has six types: sweet, sour, salty, spicy, bitter, astringent. The touchable sense base has eleven types: the four great elements, soft,

Roughness, heaviness, lightness, coldness, hunger, and thirst. There are seven sense-spheres of phenomena, namely: feeling, conception, formation, non-discriminating, cessation through individual analysis, cessation not through individual analysis, and space. 'Object of experience' refers to forms and so on, which are the support for the eye consciousness to perceive. 'Characteristics' refers to the own-nature of forms and so on. Such as the blue and yellow mentioned above. 'Without own-nature' refers to the objects of experience such as forms, because they cannot be one or many. As it is said in the Ornament of the Middle Way: These things, spoken of as suchness, are without own-nature, because they cannot be one or many; by their own-nature, they are like reflections. So it is. 'Without own-nature and without object' means that it has transcended the sense faculties. How can there be an object of experience like that, with an object? This is the question. The conclusion of the question is summarized: These are very wonderful, please dispel my doubts. Among them, 'these' refers to the words of the question that have passed above. 'Very wonderful' means that it was not understood before. 'I' refers to the goddess Caksusamati, and her doubt refers to uncertainty. 'God' refers to Vajrasattva, because he manifests after the Buddhas and enjoys his own light. 'Please dispel' means that in order to eliminate those doubts, please teach through the gate of speech that possesses five kinds of grounds. The five kinds of grounds are: definitive word, its cause, example, proximity, and certainty. Among them, the definitive word is like saying: 'All conditioned phenomena are impermanent.' The cause is like saying: 'Because conditioned phenomena arise from the assembly of causes and conditions.' The example is like saying: 'Like a pot.' Proximity is like saying: 'Just as clay, wheel, rope, and potters gather together to make it, so the pot is impermanent.' Certainty is like saying: 'Similarly, conditioned phenomena also arise from the assembly of conditions, so they are impermanent.'
