It is not just one. For example, when asked, "Are there people in this city?" some would say, "There are no people in this city," meaning there are only empty houses and trees, and so on. Furthermore, when asked, "Is there a village in this forest area?" they would say, "There is no village in this forest area," meaning there is not even an empty city. Therefore, the meanings of the words "things are empty" and "things do not exist" are different; they are not the same. For example, the expressions "empty vase" and "no vase" are similar. "Empty vase" means that there is no water or anything else in the vase, while "no vase" means that there is no vase at all. How could it be empty of anything? Therefore, those with intelligence should not be confused about the meaning of words. The truth of worldly convention, and, The truth of ultimate meaning, Having relied on the two truths correctly, The Buddhas teach all dharmas. The meaning of these words is that everything relies on conventional truth. Without the ladder of correct conventional truth, it is not appropriate for the wise to climb to the top of the correct house. And, abiding in the ultimate truth, Not empty, not non-empty, Not both empty and non-empty, Not liberated from empty and non-empty, The Victors teach thus. So it is said. However, teaching the two truths is also out of compassion for the world. In conventional truth, the Bhagavan does not have anything called ultimate truth other than conventional truth, because conventional truth cannot withstand examination and analysis, and its nature is ultimate truth. Therefore, it is no different from conventional truth. The distinction is made for the sake of distinguishing so that those to be tamed can easily understand. This powerfully shows that emptiness does not exist independently of things. Now, some very foolish people say this: When seeing things, or when meditating on their desired deity, sometimes one sees the eyes of another, or when meditating, when meditating on the deity, one sees the ears.

It is not possible to meditate, because at that time those are not present, and because it is non-conceptual. Similarly, when it is the ear, it is not the nose. When it is the nose, it is not the back, hands, feet, intestines, shins, kidneys, etc. appearing or being meditated upon, therefore one cannot see an unfulfilled woman, or by meditating on an unfulfilled deity, one cannot see a fulfilled woman, and because one will not become meditating on a fulfilled deity, one cannot make manifest by meditating on the deity. Therefore, by meditating on the deity, one will not achieve the siddhi of Mahamudra, the nature of omniscient. So, by what is it achieved? Is it achieved by meditating solely on emptiness, or is it achieved by something other than meditation? Some say this: There are no objects of meditation such as dharanis and mantra recitations. All of those are appearances of a deluded mind. The mind is not conceptual, by thinking, do not be deluded, without distraction, think of your own happiness. Thus they say, without relying on listening and thinking, etc., if one thinks that the co-emergent yoginis can achieve knowledge of the past, etc., that is not the essence, because emptiness alone has already been refuted by the reasoning mentioned earlier. However, emptiness alone, which has become the nature of space, cannot accomplish even a little need, just as one does not see fruit arising from space like a sprout arising from a seed, because space is characterized by being devoid of all abilities. Mahamudra will not be achieved without meditation either, because without a cause, all of those would become Buddhas. All the co-emergent yoginis' knowledge of the past, etc., is also due to habituation in previous lives, otherwise all women would possess knowledge of the past, etc. However, when practitioners experience the joy of playing together with extremely beautiful women, creating delight, when performing kara (sexual activity),

English

It is not possible to touch the supreme limb, because that is impossible. When the supreme limb is touched, the two breasts are not touched, and similarly, it should be said for other objects of focus. Even if the form of the beloved is not seen in the darkness, worldly people say: I also enjoy all the limbs of the beloved who possesses qualities such as form in the middle of the night. Similarly, when pleasing eyes and mouths are seen, even if the back and so on are not seen, worldly people say that they truly see all the forms of the beloved. Similarly, when building a house, when the first pillar is erected, there are no second and third pillars, and the house is not built in an instant, but worldly people say that they truly see the completion of the house. Similarly, it should be said for doing things such as eating and preparing. Therefore, like this, when enjoying a wife and so on, although not all the limbs are enjoyed, because worldly people have manifest attachment to all the limbs of a beautiful woman in a place, and because of the pleasure of great joy, and also those can accomplish the nature of the supreme meaning of a husband, similarly, when meditating on the deity, for all the initial practitioners, although all the limbs do not appear in one instant, meaning is accomplished by manifest attachment, and when the meditation is completed, like the appearance of a rainbow, the deity who is the complete nature of self-aware wisdom will be seen. Thus it is said: Therefore, it is neither truly real nor truly unreal, from those who meditate very much, when the power of meditation is perfected, that clear non-conceptual wisdom is the result. Thus it is said. If, when meditating, all the limbs are not seen, then, when the meditation is completed, that clear non-conceptual wisdom is the result. How can the words of the master Dharmakirti, the jewel on the crown of the wheel of valid cognition, be established? Therefore, when seeing the beautiful form of a woman, even if the intestines, bones, legs, and tendons are not seen in that instant, worldly people will see and touch women and so on
