etc. are tormented. The meaning of generating compassion is to generate compassion for them. Just as a great captain boards a ship, a yogi will enter the realm of accomplishing mantra attainments. Therefore, the great Lama has said: In order to liberate those beings who are attached to inverted things, those who have the thought of generating true compassion should make all dharmas manifest as emptiness. Similar statements are also found in other scriptures. Bodhi is true, which means it is true because of its self-nature being pure, that is, the ultimate truth. It is also called inconceivable, because it cannot be measured by Śrāvakas etc., and it is the nature of being universally present. The order after practicing it is to recite the mantra of emptiness (Skt. Śūnyatā), then visualize it as the ground arising from the syllable Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽), and then visualize it as white as the autumn moon, etc. This is the practice of a mantra practitioner. Its meaning is as follows: After generating great compassion in this way, entering the characteristics of Bodhicitta, practicing the three doors of liberation, what is it? It starts from "because there is no self-nature" etc. Whatever is proclaimed as the nature of any dharma is separated from it because it is extremely unreasonable. Or, because it is separated from the grasper and the grasped, one and many, etc., which are conjectured by children, because it is separated from all things, all things are emptiness. If there is no cause, it means that the Īśvara etc. conjectured by the Tirthikas etc. do not exist, so all dharmas are without characteristics. It is not that the cause that appears only in name is prevented. Absence of characteristics means absence of things, because characteristics are things. The so-called subsequent thought is subsequent analysis, that is, the happiness etc. of beings such as gods and humans, because it is separated from analytical analysis, it is without subsequent thought. Therefore, it is said to be separated from wishes, that is, the wishes that arise with the nature of desire for happiness, form, enjoyment, etc. of this and that etc. are the precursors of subsequent thought. Here, all dharmas only manifest as one's own wisdom, and there are no other enjoyers etc. besides that, so there is no wish. About this

Jñāna(藏文:ཛྙཱ་ན་,梵文天城体:ज्ञान,梵文罗马拟音:jñāna,汉语字面意思:智慧)是智慧。彼即是Vajra(藏文:བཛྲ་,梵文天城体:वज्र,梵文罗马拟音:vajra,汉语字面意思:金刚),因为不可分割。其Sva-bhāva(藏文:སྭ་བྷཱ་བ་,梵文天城体:स्वभाव,梵文罗马拟音:svabhāva,汉语字面意思:自性)是自性,彼Ātmako(藏文:ཨཱཏྨ་ཀོ་,梵文天城体:आत्मको,梵文罗马拟音:ātmako,汉语字面意思:我所)和Haṃ(藏文:ཧཾ,梵文天城体:हं,梵文罗马拟音:haṃ,汉语字面意思:种子字)是我的自性。

Thus, showing the three aspects is merely a distinction in speech; one should understand that in ultimate reality, they are all contained within emptiness. Because the very nature of being free from all substantial entities, such as that which is grasped and that which grasps, is emptiness. As in "liberated from appearances such as form," etc., the great lama speaks here with reasoning that is free from one and many. The teacher Dharmakīrti, in his treatise on valid cognition, says: "By what are things understood? In ultimate reality, it does not exist. Because the nature of one and many does not exist. Therefore, all is emptiness." Therefore, now, because the causes and conditions do not come together, it is uncharacterized because it is not born in the first place. In the noble text on explaining causes: "It is appearance and non-appearance. From things, conditions are not suitable. What cause is there for non-appearance? What cause should one make for appearance?" Thus it is said. The teacher Dharmakīrti said: "Even if what is born is completely dependent on others, for its own causes, etc., examining their connection, the single mind is not apparent. Because it depends on other connections. How does it depend on others, because it does not exist. It completely depends on all appearances. If a thing depends on others, then it is without desire." Thus it is said. Selflessness, the nature of cause and effect, has no combination. Therefore, desire is not logical, because non-appearance, like a rabbit's horn, is not a suitable cause for it. If it becomes apparent, then it does not need it. It is not suitable for appearance to occur when the cause is emptiness. Therefore, all phenomena are like illusions, without beginning or end, pleasing without examination. All things are emptiness; such a statement does not exist. Too much elaboration is abandoned here. Thus, in order to focus on the suchness of all phenomena, in order to stabilize the mind of enlightenment, the blessing of mantra is spoken, the so-called Om (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡) is the inconceivable body of the deity. Śūnyatā (藏文:ཤཱུ་ནྱ་ཏཱ,梵文天城体:शून्यता,梵文罗马拟音:śūnyatā,汉语字面意思:空性) is emptiness. Jñāna (藏文:ཛྙཱ་ན་,梵文天城体:ज्ञान,梵文罗马拟音:jñāna,汉语字面意思:智慧) is wisdom. That is Vajra (藏文:བཛྲ་,梵文天城体:वज्र,梵文罗马拟音:vajra,汉语字面意思:金刚), because it is indivisible. Its Sva-bhāva (藏文:སྭ་བྷཱ་བ་,梵文天城体:स्वभाव,梵文罗马拟音:svabhāva,汉语字面意思:自性) is nature, that Ātmako (藏文:ཨཱཏྨ་ཀོ་,梵文天城体:आत्मको,梵文罗马拟音:ātmako,汉语字面意思:我所) and Haṃ (藏文:ཧཾ,梵文天城体:हं,梵文罗马拟音:haṃ,汉语字面意思:种子字) is my nature. Therefore, the noble Nāgārjuna said: Things
