That is, what are they? Right view, right thought, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, and right concentration. On the center of that eight-spoked white wheel of completely pure nature, meditate on the moon marked with BHRUM (藏文:བྷྲཱུཾ,梵文天城体:भ्रूं,梵文罗马拟音:bhrūṃ,汉语字面意思:勃隆). "With the vidya-woman" means possessing the vidya-woman of self-appearance, through the practice of radiating and gathering its rays. "Vairochana" means contemplating the sequence that will be explained below, and from that, his form arises. It means to contemplate the layered palace arising from the form of Vairochana at the center of the various lotuses and crossed vajras, as explained in the Dharma-arising section. The specific distinction of that is stated: "Clear power of the Thub" means that the powers of the Thub are so called because of the clarity of the rays. That very mandala is the various rays of those various ones. It is so called because it pervades all directions of the palace with radiating rays. Also, from the root tantra: "Equal to the light of the Buddha blazing, pervading everywhere with five kinds of rays." It is said. "Unequal, therefore not" means that because the Tathagatas and individual beings are equal in suchness, it is square. The four supreme ones are: "Through mindfulness, power, and strengths, the doors." "Supreme" means greatly adorned and non-afflicted. Which are the four doors that adorn and diminish? That is, from the establishment of mindfulness to the powers and strengths. This meaning should be examined. All the mentioned roots of virtue are not exhausted by contemplating impurity and so on, but the virtuous ones are perfected by the power and strength of mantra, which should be known by the noble yogis. If it is not so, it is wrong. Why is that? Because all those are not shown from this. That mindfulness is: whatever protects the single-pointedness of focusing on body, feeling, mind, and phenomena, merely by gathering various limbs, this body is the mindfulness of the mind that is completely separated from grasping and so on.

Therefore, the mindfulness of body, feeling, mind, and phenomena, called the four mindfulnesses, is the eastern gate. Therefore it is said: Body and feeling, mind and phenomena, not many and so on combined, remembering them generates faith, for the sake of Bodhi, it is established as the eastern gate. Thus it is. Unwholesome things not yet arisen, cause them not to arise, those already arisen, cause them to be eliminated, wholesome things not yet arisen, cause them to arise, those already arisen, cause them to increase, gradually initiating, diligently practicing, properly attending, earnestly acting, called the four right exertions, is the second southern gate. Therefore it is said: Future, present, and reversed, not arising and causing to be eliminated, those already arisen, causing them to abide and so on, the four exertions are the southern gate. Thus it is. The samadhi of desire, effort, mind, and contemplation, the miraculous power associated with the activity of abandonment, that is, the foot that walks in the sky, all causes completely purified, is the third western gate. Therefore it is said: Desire, joy, abiding, wisdom, miraculous power, foot, and mindfulness, the western gate is those. Thus it is. After that, the limbs of ascertainment are connected with the heat and the peak, faith, mindfulness, samadhi, wisdom, similarly connected with patience and the supreme worldly dharma, the five powers completely purified, is the fourth northern gate. Therefore it is said: Faith and effort and mindfulness, samadhi, wisdom, power and strength, immeasurable samadhi, the fourth is the northern gate. The chariot of the four dhyanas, that is, investigation, analysis, joy, bliss, one-pointedness of mind, the first dhyana with five limbs, and the first joy born of wisdom based on this, the second is the first completely pure chariot. And its pearls and flower garlands and so on. Inner nature completely pure, and bliss, clarity, one-pointedness of mind, the second dhyana with four limbs, and the second completely pure chariot based on this, the third and fourth grounds. And its pearl garlands and so on. Equanimity, mindfulness, awareness, bliss
