That is the wheel of the mandala. "Et cetera" refers to the mind-king abiding as it is, liberated from the continuum of discursive thoughts, accomplished by special causes, and the nature of those discursive thoughts is said to be entirely extinguished. As it is said: What is the mind of all sentient beings? Because of its stability, it is called mind. By being placed in equanimity, it abides in samadhi. From certainty, it transforms into vajra. By the blessing and union of the hero of mind, it transforms again into Vajrasattva. Thus it is said. The noble Nagarjuna said: Samsara and nirvana, these two do not exist. Completely knowing samsara is called nirvana. Thus it is said. Therefore, when we falsely impute self and so forth onto the mind alone, it is called samsara. When we are free from those false imputations and abide in our own nature, it is called nirvana. Even abiding thus, the nature of reality is emptiness. Existence and peace are samsara and nirvana. However, there is no such distinction as emptiness abandoning samsara and seeking nirvana, because both are empty. As it is said: Not truly seeing the world, and presuming nirvana; truly seeing the world, and not presuming nirvana. Thus said the noble Nagarjuna. The Bhagavan also said extensively: The purity of ordinary beings and the purity of the Tathagata are not two; they cannot be made two; they are neither different nor the same. Why is that? For what reason? That is, for what reason? Being free from the false imputations of grasping and so forth, always above, at all times, in all, that is to say, because the nature of reality is established as being free from all elaboration from existence and nirvana, there is no distinction. As it is said in the Lankavatara Sutra: Whether the Tathagatas appear or do not appear, the nature of phenomena, the realm of phenomena, and the unchanging nature of phenomena are always abiding. Thus it is said. If it is not the aspect of false imputation, how is the tenet established? "Other than mind" means that other than mind, there is no distinction of the cause of pride, self, object of grasping, and so forth.

. The meaning of that is as follows: Because there is no self, etc., the mind is established. From that mind, various things that flow and do not flow appear, and although those appear to be different, they do not exist outside of the mind. That is the object of pride. That is to gather samsara and nirvana as inseparable. Which is the "essence"? That is the conventional truth. Which is the essence of the ultimate truth? If that is realized, then the basis of that realization, the nature of the conventional truth, why would it become real? If examined with scripture and reasoning, the essence of the self is unattainable. However, the appearance of water moons, etc., is not obstructed. Therefore, everything, that is, samsara and nirvana. Inseparability is made inseparable in the ultimate truth, and there is no difference, so everything is inseparability itself. Therefore: One thing is the nature of all things, all things are the essence of one thing. Whoever sees the thusness of one thing, he also sees the thusness of all things. It is said like this. The venerable face of the noble Nagarjuna also said: Without realizing the conventional, one cannot perceive suchness. The conventional is said to be emptiness, and emptiness is said to be the conventional. It is said like this. In the Noble Eight Thousand Verses, it is also said: Kausika, in Jambudvipa there are various trees, and various branches and so on grow, but the shade has no difference, it is called shade. All dharmas also have the same essence, which is emptiness. It's like that. Now, in order to conclude those, it says "some" etc. Some, that is the thing itself, that is form etc. That is the discrimination of the object. Some others, that is the various consciousnesses of the eye etc., some are the discriminations of the mind. Discrimination is different because of the cause of pride. That itself is also related to the grasped in the above order, and separated from the grasper. Therefore, since it is neither the grasped nor the grasper, everything is only mind. In the sutra it is also said: O sons of the Victorious Ones, these three realms are only mind. It is said like this. There are two confusions about this: Some think that it exists in the ultimate truth, and think it is a real thing; and the opposite of that
