Furthermore, at that time, if your meaning does not appear, then how do you want it to be a direct perception? Thus it is said. Therefore, the so-called "those two" refers to what was obtained earlier and what was obtained later. The so-called "mutually the same" is because of existence and non-existence. To illustrate, "pleasure, etc." refers to pleasure and suffering being dissimilar at all times, just like that. Now, in order to show that the oneness understood by reason is not established, it says "form, etc." and so on. Among them, the so-called "form, etc." refers to all things such as pillars. The so-called "not one" is the negation to be established. Why? Because of "the beginning," and so on. "The beginning" refers to the upper part of pillars, etc. "The end" refers to the lower part. And so on includes the middle circle and other parts. Thus, because it appears as grasped and ungrasped, because the steps gradually spread, because the subtle is invisible and the coarse is visible, and because it appears as many such as horses and elephants, therefore, clinging to oneness itself is a mistake. Therefore, the teacher Vasubandhu said: "One does not have gradual movement, there is no simultaneous grasping and not grasping, it appears as many distinctions, and the subtle that cannot be exhausted by the eyes does not exist." Thus it is said. Jñānagarbha also said: "Things such as pillars, with distinctions such as upper and lower, from that are divided into many, clinging to oneness is a mistake." Thus it is said, so oneness is not an object of cognition. Now, in order to show that the partless atoms belonging to the many are not established, it says "atoms," and so on. According to their view, phenomena are composed of atoms, and those atoms are without parts, do not distinguish between darkness and light, and are considered to have the same kind. In order to show that that is unreasonable, it says "atom parts are invisible," that is, because each atom cannot be observed, but only coarse things can be observed. Because the nature of coarse things is emptiness, therefore it is not an atom. Jñānagarbha also said: "Each atom is observed by the intellect, the intellect observes coarse things, because coarse things have parts, therefore atoms are not objects of cognition." Thus it is said. Therefore, many atoms are also not objects of the intellect, and this reason is the same as refuting oneness.

Because it belongs to the part with divisions. Now, it is to show that the aggregation itself, which belongs to the destruction of material characteristics, is not established. For example, "the central one." According to those, each atom gathers, and without distinguishing similar types, they stick together and contemplate without a target. To show that this is unreasonable, it is said that the central partless atom, when it gathers, the central atom without parts, many atoms follow and gather is unreasonable, because it has no parts. In this way, if counting the following of that position is from six directions or one direction, the first is reasonable, because the one located in the center becomes six parts. In that case, the atom itself will be damaged. The second is also unreasonable, for example, "the center of the earth." Because of the same nature, wherever the position of one is, the other merges there, so all the coarse armies such as the center of the earth will not appear, because everything will become just atoms. Therefore, it cannot be considered an atom. Apart from that, there is no kind of aggregation, so it is not an aggregation. Master Vasubandhu also said: When six are combined at once, the fine atom becomes six parts. If the six are in one position, before it becomes just an atom. If there is no combination of atoms, then where does that aggregation exist? Master Lavapa also said: If you do not admit the aggregation of atoms, you must say other aggregations. Because there is no reason at all, aggregation will not be established in the place. Thus, because the places are all existent, the nature of grasping produced by it is also non-existent, because there is no object to be grasped at all. The noble Maitreya also said: Things and sentient beings, are all awareness. The consciousness that appears, the person who is completely produced, that thing does not exist. Because that does not exist, so that also does not exist. Thus, after showing that the previous school is not established, now he declares the meaning of his own establishment close to aggregation, for example, "therefore." "Therefore" refers to the power of reason mentioned above. Grasping and so on refers to the grasped.
