Now, with the characteristic of establishing meaninglessness, the reason that shows it is not contradictory to this: Form, etc., means form, and so on. Among these, form, etc., refers to form, sound, smell, taste, and touch. 'Liberated from appearance' means that it is not established as it appears. If one uses it with white, etc., it is liberated. Because it is liberated, it cannot be realized by direct perception. That is, there is no direct wisdom of the senses, etc. Therefore, form, etc., are not apprehended by direct perception. Why? Because there is no object to be grasped. That is, if one analyzes the object to be grasped of form, etc., in the order that will appear below, one will find that it does not exist. Because it does not exist, there is no direct perception of the grasper either. This shows the self-aware, non-conceptual, and non-erroneous true direct perception. Then, is there inference? The answer is: Other also does not exist. Inference refers to form, etc. Why? Because the connection is not seen. Because direct perception is the prerequisite for inference. It should be known that it is reasonable to infer after things appear directly. Here, such a connection is not seen. Why? Because the object to be grasped, etc., is not truly established, so there is no direct wisdom. Because there is no direct wisdom, inference also does not exist. Form, etc., do not exist in the invisible meaning and the two knowledges, because they are unknown and unreasonable. Thus, after showing that the eye, etc., are separated from the object to be grasped and the grasper, now it is shown that the consciousness of mind is also separated from the object to be grasped and the grasper. 'Pleasure, etc.' means that pleasure is the feeling of pleasure, and with it as the head are also feeling, perception, volition, non-form, and space, etc. 'One's own action' means that it produces a consciousness like one's own image. Such an action is not seen. Why? Because pleasure, etc., are not established. How are they not established? Feeling, etc., cannot produce knowledge without a continuous sequence of past and future, because they have ceased or have not yet arisen. For what is happening now, what is being produced as an object, or what has been produced as an object.

If it transforms, the first case is not established, because it is not yet complete. The second case is also unreasonable, because consciousness has already arisen. Therefore, feelings etc. do not have the slightest help, so they cannot see their own function. Then, are space etc. established as objects? This is also unreasonable, because it is merely a construct, so it cannot generate consciousness, and if it does, it will be in accordance with the result, then it will become a conditioned phenomenon, and at that time it will be present at all times and places, and the result will always appear. Therefore, those are also not established, so they cannot see their own function. The great scholar Tooth Guard said: Happiness etc. past and future, unborn and ceased, women produce fruit, there is nothing at the time of production, and after production it has already been produced, sinking etc. are not established as objects. Space etc. have no substance, because women produce fruit, if it is produced it is as impermanent as fruit, those are always present, so the fruits are also always present. Therefore, all those, clinging to them as objects is also wrong. This is what is said. Because it is not established in the above order, there is no connection, and there is no direct perception or inference. Therefore, just like form etc., those have no grasper or grasped, just as the grasper and grasped of form etc. are separated from the above order, the grasper and grasped are separated, this is obvious. Now, regarding what was said earlier, form etc. are liberated from appearance, how are they liberated from appearance, there is not the slightest grasped, in order to show this extensive explanation. First, in order to show that the permanent dharma belonging to the constant is not established, white etc. White etc. refers to the meaning of form etc. Who knows? It is known by consciousness. The so-called one seen at the beginning refers to the one seen in the first moment, not at other times, i.e. seen in the second moment etc., because the result is momentary. If it is not like this, the result will become permanent. Why? Because the cause is not permanent. Therefore, the result also appears to arise sequentially, so the cause should also be understood in this way, how can it be permanent? The noble Maitreya also said:
