A commentary on the four-limbed practice called Samantabhadri, Vitapada. A commentary on the four-limbed practice called Samantabhadri. Vitapada. First, the three samadhis with limbs are taught. The actual ritual of the three samadhis is taught. The first samadhi called the first yogi is taught. In Indian language: Caturanga Sadhana Nopika Samanta Bhadri Nama Tika. In Tibetan language: A commentary on the four-limbed practice called Samantabhadri. Homage to glorious Vajrasattva! The glorious one, eliminating all obscurations, is immaculate and increases wisdom. Vast nature transcends past, present, and future times. Great bliss goddess, essence body, possessing intelligence. Manjushri Vajra, possessing a blissful body, after paying homage to him. Like the ritual of the glorious Guhyasamaja Tantra. The flawless practice of the Bhagavan Manjushri. Whatever was truly done by the feet of the Buddha's wisdom. That itself, to the best of my ability, I will write down for the sake of true remembrance. Thereupon, this venerable one, wishing to begin the exposition, in order to protect his own conduct, with the qualities of the desired deity, with the offering that precedes the desire, increasing merit, without the obstruction of obstacles, and for the sake of fulfilling wishes, having done so in that very place. Those who possess true knowledge have spoken of the cause of entering. There, the glorious one, etc., here are offerings, praises, and prostrations. For what reason should one be pleased and truly declare virtues, and the objects of physical and verbal reverence should be known. That, too, by the door of the distinction of splendor, the distinction of the Bhagavan himself is made true, then those distinctions are understood to be like the moon and moonlight because they are free from the four. Having thus shown the condensed meaning, in order to show the meaning of the limbs. There, the glorious one is the characteristic of the accumulation of merit and wisdom. Whoever possesses that is the glorious one. That is, he has spoken of the cause of the perfection of his own purpose. Why? The characteristic of omniscience, the perfection of one's own purpose, arises from those two splendors. That is

Because it is related to the Bhagavan. In the time of cause, it is merely the nature of proximity, and it should also be understood in the stage of effect. Therefore, it is said to be greater than Brahma and others. Because everything arises from the collection, it does not arise from the meaning of worldly glory. "All delusions" means that because it becomes an obstacle to seeing the true meaning. Eliminating all ignorant delusions, including the obscurations of afflictions with habitual tendencies, is also in sequence from receiving empowerment from the noble Guru. The so-called "immaculate" means that the nature abides in wisdom like a mirror, such as the Alaya-jnana, etc., and the immaculate, which is the perfection of one's own meaning, is spoken by the all-knowing one. Therefore, it is said to be greater than the Shravakas and others. As it is said in the Lankavatara Sutra: For example, a tree is in the sea, like waves being shaken by all. Similarly, the ignorance of the Shravakas is also shaken by characteristics. Connected with all afflictive habitual tendencies, having and not having. And so on, it should be understood in this way. The perfection of benefiting others is proclaimed through the door of true clarity. "Splendor Immeasurable" and so on were proclaimed. Splendor is also it, immeasurable is also it, lineage is also it, emanation is also it, so it is said. Therefore, the Bhagavan who is adorned in various ways should be called that. Its meaning is like this: With the same lineage, etc., the form that appears in the continuum of the beings to be tamed, constantly accomplishes benefit, and by this power, the beings to be tamed attain all-knowingness, therefore it is for the benefit of others. One who possesses such qualities is called adorned. It was proclaimed that the perfection of accomplishing the benefit of oneself and others is "non-wisdom" and so on. The so-called "wisdom mother" refers to one's own consort, that is, in the causal stage, with the power of the completely pure face of the two accumulations of generosity, etc., the all-knowing wisdom arises, and in the fruition stage, abiding in the nature of true Bodhi, the completely pure nature of outer emptiness, etc., by this power, the continuum of the beings to be tamed is completely matured.
