Our sole focus on feelings, mind, and Dharma, what does this protect? Merely by gathering various limbs, this body is separated from things like being grasped, because mindfulness of the mind is placed nearby. Therefore, the mindfulness of body, feelings, mind, and Dharma is the eastern gate. Therefore, it is said in the scriptures: Body and feelings, mind and Dharma, are not a combination of multiplicity, etc. What is the remembrance of it, the faith in it? For the sake of Bodhi, it is considered the eastern gate. Thus it is said. In order not to arise unarisen non-virtue, and to reduce arisen non-virtue, and in order to arise unarisen virtue, and to maintain arisen virtue, to gradually begin, completely train, individually discern, and diligently practice, this is called the complete purification of the four right exertions, which is the second southern gate. Therefore, it is said in the scriptures: Future and present, perversely, not arising and reducing, what has arisen should be maintained, the four right exertions are the southern gate. Thus it is said. Having the samadhi of desire, effort, mind, and investigation, the miraculous power combined with the activity of abandoning, that is, walking in the sky, called the foot, the causes are completely purified, is the third western gate. Therefore, it is said in the scriptures: Desire, enthusiasm, abiding, wisdom, miraculous foot and mindfulness, that is considered the western gate. Thus it is said. After that, the decisive limbs are related to warmth and the peak. Faith, mindfulness, samadhi, and wisdom, similarly, patience and the supreme Dharma of the world are related, the five powers are completely purified, is the fourth northern gate. Therefore, it is said in the scriptures: Faith and effort, mindfulness and, samadhi, wisdom, roots and powers, immeasurable samadhi is, the fourth northern gate. The chariot of the four dhyanas is called investigation, analysis, joy, bliss, and one-pointedness of mind, that is, the first dhyana with five limbs, and the first great joy that relies on its wisdom, and the second completely pure chariot. And its pearls and garlands, etc. The inner nature is completely purified, happy, clear, and one-pointed mind, that is, the second dhyana with four limbs.

Therefore, relying on the second stable of the third and fourth pure lands, and its pearl necklace, etc. Equanimity, mindfulness, clear knowing, joy, and one-pointedness of mind, the third dhyana with five branches is taught, and relying on it, the fourth pure stable, such as the long expanse of the land of wisdom, and its pearl necklace and śroataka, etc. The so-called "Samadhi Opening" refers to the power arising from the one-pointedness of mind of the Tathagatas, as well as the courageous going, the Treasury of Space, the Immaculate, and the Lion's Play, all of which are pure and completely surrounded by openings in all directions. To abide in that opening is to dwell in that opening. The supreme offering is adorned with the graceful form of a goddess, and is busy serving with flowers, etc., so the openings, etc., constantly abide without interruption, which is patience, dharma, meaning, and the pure dharani of mantras. The so-called "various ornaments" refers to decorating with all kinds of precious jewels of various colors and shapes, and arranging the palace. Why is that? Because it is said to fulfill all the hopes of beings. The so-called "taming arises" refers to arising from the power of sentient beings, which is what is said. What is that? It is the nine branches of scripture, namely the sutra section, the songs, the prophecies, the verses, the self-spoken, the parables, the stories of former lives, the birth stories, and the extensive section. That is the dharma, the dharma like a boat. The so-called "universal going" is for the sake of entering the continuum of beings. What are those pure ones? They are "moved by the wind" etc., that is, ringing bells inside the banners, and various crests on the outside top, being moved by the wind, and standing upright. Know that in the direction of Indra it is white, in the fire corner it is purple, in the direction of Yama it is black, in the direction of emptiness it is gray, in the direction of wind it is various colors, in the direction of yakshas it is yellow, and in the direction of Ishvara it is green.
