That itself is the nature of the deities such as the aggregates. Among them, the suchness of the Buddhas is the five aggregates, namely form, feeling, perception, formations, and consciousness. The suchness of the Bodhisattvas is the twelve sources, namely eye, ear, nose, tongue, body, mind, form, sound, smell, taste, touch, and dharmas. The suchness of the eye, Māmaki, White-clad Mother, Tara, and Vajradhara is earth, water, fire, wind, and space. Furthermore, the other suchness of the deities that is shown is the mention of stinginess and so on, the pāramitās are the ten perfections as described. The ground is the eleven grounds. Very abiding is abiding very firmly with the nature of that mind in them. Why is that? Because it is said that stinginess and so on are transformed into grounds. The state of transformation that is spoken of, also the grounds and pāramitās that are of a nature that is not separate from the mind, are transformed into the suchness of the deities. Among them, the suchness of the ten goddesses is the ten perfections. The Very Joyful and the Stainless, these two grounds are of Yama, the slayer of death. Then the three grounds are of the remaining three gatekeepers. Then the five grounds are of the five Tathāgatas. The All-Illuminating is of the lord of the mandala. What are the grounds? Namely, the Very Joyful, the Stainless, the Luminous, the Blazing, the Difficult to Tame, the Manifest, the Far-Reaching, the Immovable, the Good Intelligence, the Cloud of Dharma, and the All-Illuminating. Among them, the Bodhisattva who has become Very Joyful by thoroughly realizing the realm of phenomena that goes everywhere, abiding with superior pure intention, is the Very Joyful. By the cause of the complete purification of superior intention, with the discipline that is pure by nature, and abiding with true possession, is the Stainless. Separated from the defilement of immoral discipline, by the cause of the complete purification of discipline, abiding with the light of equally entering worldly meditation and samādhi, is the Luminous. Relying on that very samādhi, enlightenment
