Moreover, consciousness is also something embodied. This consciousness, which has the aspect of pervading its object, is something embodied, and it exists only in this. The experience of clarity, such as pleasure, is also undeniable. For example, when a tired body is immersed in water, one experiences pervasive pleasure. In that state, it is not that it does not pervade the object, because the body is also like that. If it pervades the object, then like the body, it is something embodied. Therefore, in another way, the aspectless consciousness is also not beyond the refutation of external objects, so the teacher did not specifically refute it, it should be understood. Therefore, the statement that consciousness is not something to be called "existent" is established. Then, since consciousness and knowable things do not exist, will it become merely the nature of non-existence? No, it is not. Consciousness exists conventionally, because the conventional is undeniable. If non-existence necessarily arises because existence is negated? No, it is not. Because non-existence is preceded by existence, if existence is not established, then non-existence will not be established either. As it is said: Non-existence is led by the companion of existence, existence is led by the companion of non-existence. Therefore, if non-existence is not spoken of, then existence will not be constant. It is said like that. It is also not the nature of both existence and non-existence, because existence and non-existence are contradictory. It is also not the nature of something other than existence and non-existence, which is neither both nor not both, because it is unreasonable for anything that serves as a basis to become an external other. Then, will it become that there is no suchness at all? Is this not suchness? For example, it is called being separated from suchness. Therefore, consciousness appears as being definitely liberated from the four extremes. Only in that way is it suchness, the absence of suchness, is the suchness of realization, this view is established. If that is the case, then at that time, since permanence is permanent, how can there be samsara? Because it does not exist,

The statement addressing the doubt called "If it changes" is, this refers to "in this" and so forth. This very mind, free from the four extremes, the nature of the stream of discursive thoughts that clings to self and so on, is the aspect of samsara. Reversing from clinging to self and so on, merely through the nature of selflessness, ultimately knowing, is complete purification, which is liberation. Here, it is also said that one should strive to cultivate discursive thoughts. Thus, discursive thoughts that are particularly attached to external objects are ordinary because they are accompanied by delusion and conform to existence. Abiding merely in its own nature, because it is without thought and without error, the nature of direct perception is completely pure. As it is said: "Because of discriminating about objects, discrimination does not approve of self-awareness." As it is said. Therefore, since discrimination does not discriminate its own nature, all phenomena are completely pure in essence. That which is spoken is "in this" and so on. Thereafter, the venerable master Nagarjuna also said: "Nirvana and existence, these two are not existent; completely knowing existence is said to be nirvana. Nirvana and samsara have no difference whatsoever; samsara and nirvana have no difference whatsoever." Thus it is said. So, if in that, there is no difference in the nature of existence and peace, then how? Because it is free from forms such as color, for all, it refers to saying "for all" and so on. It is said that the word all is the object of many meanings. Moreover, if there is no difference, then it should not be connected. To welcome such doubts, it is said, "all itself" and so on. In conventional truth, there is indeed a difference between peace and existence, and so on. Therefore, apart from whatever is universally conceptualized by nature from the appearance of conventional objects, there is nothing at all. The word all is the object of what is imputed by discrimination. Therefore, if the meaning of difference that possesses suchness is true for all that has become so, then
